I've always been intrigued by the Masquerade universe. I wish you well, I legit just abandoned my 5E homebrew group due to some weird personal shit feeding into the campaign. It was just sad.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how emo is your group? I thought about playing VTM about 10-15 years ago but my regular group wasn't into it and the only groups in the area were all super angsty emo types.

Last sesh was like 2/10 emo. This is feeling prob the same, tho there was aome more darker stuff this intro than last time.

I've got some great recipes for Pig's Blood that tastes delicious -- and are very in-keeping with the Vampire aesthetic.

We were served our first meal with a glass of blood (we were not told it was blood) to prove we are vampires after us trying normal food and hating. The source of the blood was not disclosed.

We dont know yet. We started as humans, intro scenes. Then woke up turned, no idea whst we are until later told. No idea what clans we belong in.

I feel we have interesting characters, and our new first time player even brought props!

Opened up the open world. Fun game this far. Aerith is really fun to play, her warp skill and the chrono-skill is great, overall I love the parry mechanic.

Played 2 hours. Could not continue more than a couple of scenes after where the first part of the demo ended. . Ill continue tomorrow when the rest is downloaded.

I preloaded the game fully like on tuesday.

Its 2 am soon. And at 12am it was ready to play.

But it wasnt bow fully downloaded.

Ive now come to a point I cant continue as its downloaded 75% of the game. So Ill prob have to to to sleep now.

The only part of the demo I struggled with was a hunt had to stop them from using Soothing Winds, but I figured it out. Also didnt try all the difficulties of Phoenix, full power prob not beatable, easiest was too easy.

Then again Im atm replaying FF7R so Im comfortable with the battle system.

And I agree with @SuperVegitoFAN here: I feel that, at least what's been shown in the demo so far, combat feels more challenging on Normal mode. It's a good thing, mind you, it will just take some getting used to.

Roll and attack is the sword beam
Roll and hold attack is aireal combo, hell ise it even on grounded enemies

When you dodge and hold attack he starts arial combat, can dodge midair too. Cloud and others even have attacks bow that can send enemies in the air.
