I always tip my artist. I have one guy who's doing my right arm and left leg. I tip him about $100 per session. A lot of their money gets split with the parlor. Like a 60/40 split.

Plus, tipping him makes him treat me like a fucking king. He's given me a free tattoo. He's knocked the base price down a couple times. He invites me to their functions that have open bar. It helps for a good relationship with them and shows that you respect the art/artist.

Besides, what's another hundo per session when you're already dropping like six bills.

A large portion of the money they make comes from tips. Medium tattoos require multiple ink containers, needles, and gloves.

I worked with this Latino girl, and asked her out. She said unless I somehow had a black dick, then its a no. Knew her for years, so she wasnt being rude, just stating what she liked. Plus she was always cool and friendly. She definitely wasnt a racist.
