Turn A was okay but not as great as people made it out to be. It was much more grounded and slower but maybe I should give it a second try.

Apparently the Dark History they keep referencing was in fact the wars from the UC, the Turn A Gundam itself being a relic from the UC. Somewhere along the way the calendar changed to the Correct Century

I watched a few of his Netflix specials, thought they were pretty decent, but even in those he comes across as kind of a douchebag. YouTube also regularly recommends clips from his podcasts that never seem particularly funny or interesting, but I also don't have much interest in podcasts in general, especially all these podcasts hosted by comedians who all just seem to cycle being guests for each other.

Ive seen a bit of his where he talks about how he was at a hotel and the hotel clerk doesnt recognize him and asks if hes Japanese because of the name Segura. And the joke is framed as haha how could this guy not recognize me? But then when you take shit like the real life airport incident into account you start to realize that maybe he wasnt joking and people not knowing who he is really gets to him.

Its kinda like how all of Louiss jokes about being a creepy guy who likes to masturbate turned out to have a lot more truth to them than people thought.

I cant stand the guy. Dude is a spoiled rich kid who talks down on people with less money than him (his fanbase) and just acts like an insufferable tool. Maybe this is a hot take, but I never cared for Cavills Superman. Hes a great actor, but I think hes better suited to brooding characters like Geralt.

I found Tyler Hoechlins performance in Superman and Lois to be way more enjoyable

Of course part of it is that Zack Snyder is a garbage director and his vision of Superman was terrible to begin with.

When I was younger, I used to believe that every boy should have a wife and have children so that the family name would never disappear. This is the shit my parents made me believe. I think part of the problem with Skypeia is that its sandwiched between a really solid arc with Alasbasta and arguably the best pre time skip arc with Water 7/Enies Lobby. Skypeia is just underwhelming.

Now at the dreaded Skypeia arc for my reread. Tempted to skip it this time. This arc is so damn boring

this shrine lets you pay like 2k yen to improve the bonds of links without hanging out with them but i don't think its as broken as P5 because it does pass time

The only reason to use the shrine is if the SL you want is unavailable that day and you dont have any others to do. I really dont think its worth it
