Using Tackle is literally going Big Brain strats that make no sense to use.

Now, running the calcs the other way... Hitmonchan CAN OHKO with Close Combat, without a Crit, which Hitmonlee cannot do. If we're going to "Big Brain" things, if Hitmonlee goes Fake Out and then Tackle, Hitmonchan uses Agility, which puts its speed above Hitmonlee, and OHKOs with Close Combat.

The point is Hitmonchan has no reason to attack first, being a more defensive Pokemon. Hitmonchan's defensive-oriented stats makes it more likely to Counter or buff, whereas Hitmonlee's offense-oriented stats make more sense to attack.

Only if Hitmonchan actually attacks, which, assuming the best case scenario for either, it'd have no reason to, with Counter. Hitmonlee would have to be placed under 10.42% HP before Reversal becomes its best attack, and since Hitmonchan really has no reason to actually attack, the Endure strategy is very fallible.

Ran the calcs, out of curiosity.

Each using their best move in the scenario.

Hitmonlee using Close Combat, without a Crit, does 76.3-90% damage to Hitmonchan. It MUST Crit to be a OHKO. Hitmonchan using Counter on a Hitmonlee that just used Close Combat is a guaranteed OHKO. Since the chance of Close Combat doing a Crit is less than 50%, Hitmonchan wins a majority of the time.

EDIT: Checked Hi Jump Kick, just in case. Hi Jump Kick also cannot OHKO without a Crit, its range is only 82.5-97.5%.

Hitmonchan has higher Physical Defense, which negates the higher attack, and Hitmonchan is the only one who can naturally use Counter, which means if Hitmonlee uses any decent attack at all it probably gets OHKO'd.

Actually, Hitmonchan wins for sure. He's the only one of the two that naturally learns Counter. Hitmonlee can only learn it via breeding, whereas Hitmonchan learns it via level up. Higher physical defense plus Counter means Hitmonchan wins much more, on average, considering they both primarily only really learn Physical attacks.

And Hitmonchan gets kicking moves.

They, ultimately, learn many of the same moves, via TM, that would not be impacted by the restrictions, such as Earthquake, Rock Slide, and so on. However, Hitmonchan gets more varied type coverage, such as Trailblaze, which probably gives him the edge.

...How does that even make sense? Book shelves absolutely have a beginning, and an end. You have a first book on the shelf (sunday), and a last book on the shelf (saturday). Hence, bookends. If bookshelves didn't have a beginning, you could have an infinite number of books stretching out on one side of the shelf.

You're the one trying to say the last book on the shelf is actually the first book.

"Weekend" is used similar as "bookend," which means... Both ends of the week, first and last.

Looking into it further, California, Florida, and Texas all offer chemical castration as a choice. Louisiana also already did this. In this case, it'd be making surgical castration mandatory.

Lol. I guess this always has been the most painless way to go about it. Either we were just chilling in another dimension or something like a universal mind wipe that made everyone forget mutants......and the fantastic four.

My guess is they're heading toward saying Mutants always existed in the main timeline, but have been in hiding, and the appearance of mutants from other dimensions will bring them to the surface. That said I bet they'll go with a much younger Xmen for the actual main universe, and they're using the Fox characters to help usher them in.

Yeah, for more context, It's the Kelsey Grammer Beast, and he basically tells the character they ended up in another universe/dimension, so it remains to be seen how, exactly, they decide to introduce mutants, but... They've definitely made it clear they intend to.

Also, Let's Go made it more of an actual legit puzzle, since it had those two colored trash cans, and you could discover... The first one was ALWAYS one of the four adjacent to the Blue can, I believe, and based on where the blue can was placed, it meant that you could only choose from two other cans once you found the first, since the second can couldn't be adjacent to the red one, or something to that effect, and thus you atleast had a 50-50 chance. And even if you failed, the first can was always adjacent to the blue can, period.

It technically is because there's SOME logic to it, in that once you find the first, the second is adjacent to the first, even if it's random among those. That said, it's not a very good puzzle.

EDIT: That said, I do remember reading that in the earlier gens, atleast, there was a greater chance of it, being, say... Left or right, over up or down, so while it was still random, it was better to choose based on that. That still doesn't really help, in the long run, though.

I Youtubed McNugget eating out of curiosity. Some guy who was known for eating a lot quickly aimed to eat 200 nuggets and tapped out at 170 after about an hour and 40 minutes. If you watch him, he cruises through them early, then starts struggling more and more. He had eaten about 127 at the hour mark, but he was also somebody who apparently has/had a lot of eating world records, which kinda increases my belief that eating 100 in an hour isn't as easy as people seem to think it is.

Their exclusion was definitely a Marvel mandate, since they wanted to push the MCU very heavily. Anything beyond that, such as the producer's "Nobody remembers them anyway" line was merely Capcom trying to make excuses for what they were told to do.

This is literally never shown in practice, though. Piccolo still jobs fairly quickly, by canon DBS showings.

To be fair, this happened less than a month ago, so it's a bit too early to call it successful.

The first actual metric of "success" is surviving 10 days. Now, if your topic is based on THAT level of success, then... No, I would not accept an animal transplant.

If we're assuming the transplant is actually successful, then, yeah, I'd absolutely accept one from an animal, who would I be to refuse?

EDIT: The context is important, because, so far, animal transplants have failed. Thus, for this to even be a question, it's assuming it'd actually be a success.
