The Zelda relay has concluded.

Team Pro_TGHH - 3:15:33.8
Team Sittin' Sidewayz - 3:17:33.8
Team Peahat - 3:21:12.7

and now we're at that part of the event. If you're a REALLY big Final Fantasy 8 fan then the next run is for you. An any% co-op relay. This run will take upwards of 9 hours.

The bigger issue imo is the sketchy ass org they donate to for agdq.

I haven't heard anything negative about PCF.

the non mech bosses? i saw him kill all 3 mech bosses at the same time i thought

Yeah that happened later, but the first time it looked like all 3 non-mech. At least from what I saw of Skeletron. Didn't look like Prime. (tbh I can't remember if you can fight all 3 non-mech at the same time)

Rip that run though, wanted to see it and it just died, did he get rng'd?

He tried fighting Skeletron, Eater of Worlds and Eye of Cthulhu all at once but ran out of time then later realized he needed an item from them and had to wait until nightfall. So he talked up the crowd and they read donations to pass the time.

They did it!! What an amazing run.

Next up is a GDQ first with Terraria. From what I've seen the speedrun consists of item duplication using dummies.

One of my favorite items on the menu. Unfortunately they're rather expensive (nearly $6), so I rarely get one. I only go to McDonald's maybe once a month anyway.

Alright the Myst games are done. Bomberman Hero is up next followed by Chameleon Twist 2.

Bomberman 64 is one of my favorite N64 games and when Bomberman Hero came out I just bought it without renting it first thinking it would have a similar tone and mechanics. TBH the vast amount of changes bugged me. The graphics weren't as polished. Characters were bland. The music had a different style too. I beat it in 3 days (not 100%) and later sold it to a friend.

I'm 36 and still at home. I have trouble finding work.

Dad worked initially but had a number of issues growing up and just kind of hated life at times. He wasn't much of a parent. Bought me an NES when I was 4 as a way of bonding with me, but gave up quickly. He essentially retired himself at 39. Put on some coveralls, grew out his beard and stopped working. Drank a lot over the years. Smoked until 2010 when he had breathing issues during the flu. He just quit. Died in 2015 at 59 from a massive heart attack. I don't really miss him. In the years before his death he did landscaping jobs around the neighborhood. He had hobbies in wood work, drawing, and painting. Wasn't really interested in anything I did. I've tried moving in the past to get on with my life and at times asked for assistance. He came up with various excuses to keep me here as he was lazy and needed someone to take up his slack.

As for mom she's 65, but retired at 63 after breaking her ankle. Growing up she worked a few jobs. When we moved the first time she stopped working and was a stay-at-home mom. My dad kept things afloat with his work, but I get the feeling he was annoyed she didn't have a job. When we moved here in '95 she got a job as he refused to work. Never took time off, and she was good at what she did. Nowadays we try to get by here as we have the property up for sale.

Overall I was raised differently. I was never grounded or had an allowance. They weren't the type to help with homework. Didn't save for our futures. I have my own problems, but seem to have turned out okay. My sister on the other hand is just like him. A rude obnoxious sociopathic hoarder.

Some time in late 2004/early 2005 when I visited the Pokemon Ruby board. Eventually made an account in February '05 (same and only one I have now). Later discovered the non-gaming boards and hung out in the PWB. I didn't really start coming to CE until years later when a friend linked me to a topic. I've been here ever since.
