Some like them, many don't, then there's a few that dislike them but find the first to at least be a decent popcorn flick. Bumblebee is seen as the superior film, but by that time Bay had soured the live action movies so much it did very poorly. I saw all 5 of Bay's films in theater, and I liked them when I first saw them. Opinions have changed since. I have them all on dvd. The original 1986 animated film remains my overall favorite. --- |

Many older games invoke a greater challenge. There are many NES titles even to this day that can hold me back, but I keep trying because they're fun. As he says starting at 1:46 "Going forward however games would continue to become more and more approachable as developers found out that people actually like to win." Yes because many games are made to hold your hand. When a casual player tries a typical MegaMan title, let's say 2 for example they immediately go to MetalMan to get his weapon as it breaks the game. That doesn't make it good. MM2 is looked at for it's nostalgia factor, but it's very flawed. In later titles there are shops so you can load up on tanks and extra lives and breeze through the game. You're right TC that 11 is up there. I'd say it's in my current top 5. --- |

| Airhammy 12/14/20 5:14:30 AM #4 | Good question. In the games we typically just touch the item, transform, and the item disappears. In the cartoons it was much the same. The characters would absorb the power from the item and transform, then it would disappear. The Frog Suit was an exception as they had to put it on but that took all of a second or two and it practically molded on to them. However the Super Mushroom was never depicted in the cartoons. At least the American ones. All the characters were already in their base form and nobody ever shrunk unless it was a gimmick of the episode. Maybe we could look at it from an Alice in Wonderland cue and they actually eat it. --- |
