Yeah, now that the place is practically dead, people seem to read 5 topics a day... kinda weird, would think they would be reading a higher percentage of posts

I turned them both off in grounded and never looked back, normally wouldn't for fall damage... but that game has way too much bullshit first-person platforming.

Durability is worse... in that game it would mean I was pointlessly shoving enemy bits into an autofactory to make repair glue, just why? ...at least they let you turn it off.

well, you are going to have it out in the kitchen, things like milk, bread, cans while you are cooking.

You touch them and keep preparing your food with your "clean" hands.

People wander around touching, almost damn near fondling every item at a grocery store. Sometimes looking for the freshest date, and sometimes for no fucking reason that I can tell.

Those people just wandered in off the street from whatever they were doing, and I doubt they were clean... and the ones touching everything mostly look like the worst offenders.... anyway

My parent were normal and careful in just about every way during the pandemic but they STILL INSIST on cleaning the groceries even after I told them that this is toeing a fine line from careful prevention to nonsense paranoia. We don't even wear masks anymore and they still want to wipe every single item.

I mean actually it's pretty smart, a lot of that stuff is filthy... most people just can't be bothered and like to pretend otherwise.

I don't clean my stuff, except produce of course, but you have to think there aren't worse petri dishes besides hospitals and schools.

Well you see, those VPN bans they wanted to put in place not become a matter of national security.

Consequently, you have enforcement measures you can now use on foreign sites that don't want to honor those pesky state ID laws... and with a VPN ban no hiding either.

The process by which it works and how far reaching the systems are:

I think I would be more comfortable with the process if the vector wasn't via live viral infection of the host. I don't have perfect faith that our little viral factories are that mutation proof.

this was my first thought, shit on top of everything else I know I'd feel some insane ass guilt about my sister at that age as well
