It just struck me as weird for weird's sake, which is totally fine, but don't pretend it's this deep, intellectual, profound thing, because it's really not.

Seriously, this isn't some artsy fartsy film where it's all interpretations. The movie literally spells out for you word for word what it's about. I get not enjoying the film because that will always be subjective, but to say you don't get it what its about when the film tells it to your face at the end is just bonkers to me.
