It can be someone who has both left-wing and right-wing ideals and doesn't 90% line up with either side. For example, I consider myself a centrist. But there are almost no issues where I think the answer is in the middle. For example, abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights, climate change. The left is clearly right on these issues. No meeting in the middle here. Gun rights, strong borders, strong private sector. The right is clearly right on these issues. No meeting in the middle here. --- |
