The Super Sentai/Power Rangers content had me intrigued, but then when the Overwatch logo transformed into the Autobot logo at the end, well, now you have my attention.

Uh yeah, you either fell asleep or were playing on your phone too much, because Rey being revealed to be Emperor Palpatine's granddaughter, is like, the main thrust of the plot of the The Rise of Skywalker.

Yeah, I loved Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin. He absolutely nails it in Daredevil and Punisher. And apparently hes in the Hawkeye show. So, yeah once half the crime is gone, what are the villains left doing?

He's also in the ECHO show (along with a brief appearance by Daredevil). He's the main villain and also the only thing that made that show even remotely watchable.

It's because it's a direct spinoff of the Hawkeye show and deals with the fallout between the two characters.

He being no one meant that she was The Chosen One of the Force.

Her just being a Skywalker/Kenobi/Palpatine means she just inherited her powers, which is way less interesting.

I'd recommend just looking up a montage of just the monster screentime, which is like, less than 10 minutes out of nearly 10 hours of show.

But, I liked the platforming, it made the fights way more intense. And I appreciated the purely platforming sequences that cleansed the palette between all the fights. There were especially some good and tricky sections to get some of the collectibles and power-ups.

Are you even a Doomslayer if you aren't constantly vaulting and swinging?

Lol, I tried to A.I. image create Donald Trump in Stellar Blade, but no matter what prompt I put, I would get blocked by the Content Warning. The results would probably get me modded for hornyposting anyway.

You don't deserve to see a sexy Donald Trump swinging a sword while wearing an anime waifu swimsuit anyway, GameFAQs.

Another problem is probably trying to pay off that end stinger with John Snow/Black Knight from the end of ETERNALS, where he's about to pick up the Ebony Blade, and you can hear off screen Blade tell him, "I wouldn't do that if I were you", screen cuts to black.

It's wild how big the disparity is in what people see in each show. To me, Andor is easily the best of the SW shows.

The only thing I can think of is that it's the people that the Prequels were their SW as kids, so they prefer that flat line delivery, awkward editing, plain camera work, and hokey fight choreography. The Acolyte is very reminiscent of the production style of the PT, so when something that's genuinely mature, tense, dramatic, methodical, well crafted, well shot, well written, and well acted like Andor is, of course they're going to claim that's it's boring.

Sorry Acolyte is nowhere near as bad as Discovery is. Acolyte is pretty Damm good.

Based on the first two episodes it's probably the worst live-action SW show so far. It's so stiff and low energy.

It's also the most TV show looking of the shows so far as well. Like, to a certain extent, especially Andor, the other shows look like movies that just happen to be series. There were several shots in Acolyte where I was like, bro, even Star Trek Discovery looks better than this.

The problem was they couldn't figure out how to properly get the "infected party members" part to work, so they just put a bunch of arbitrary trigger points in the game where your party members would just turn into a Thing.

You could stand next to one of these points, blood test the teammate and have it show negative, then walk 5 steps across an invisible point of the floor and they start growing teeth out of their ears.

Well, duh. Let's not forget, Lucas wanted to a Flash Gordon adaptation, but couldn't get the rights, so he made-up Star Wars instead, which is basically just Flash Gordon (and a bunch of other things) in all but name.

I think I'd have liked it more if it had focused on its worldbuilding more.

Which is exactly what Furiosa is. It's 2 and a half hours of mainly character and worldbuilding, with spurts of action scenes. The climax is even more emotional than action.

There are plenty of non-dairy or lactose free ice cream alternatives. Just hope you're not allergic to soy, almonds, coconut, or oats.

Yeah it sucks and it's not ever as good as real ice cream, but it's something.

Or if you want to take the chance to initiate a tug-of-war in your guts, you can pop a couple of Lactaid pills right before eating real ice cream, and see how it goes. :/

Would have been easier to maintain the suspension of disbelief if they had waited till after they cut away from the backstage bit before smearing him with the protective gel and hidden the fire extinguishers a little better.

If you had seen the entire match, he was already wet because he got dunked into a tub of ice water by Darby Allin earlier, so at least they tried to cover it.

The titular monster doesn't show up until a whole ass movie's worth of screentime.

Because of those movies, to this day whenever I buy or receive something I really like, I rub the packaging and say, "Ooh, my precious."

What have they been doing for the last 5 years? Surely when you make a sequel your aim should be to be better than the original (which admittedly isn't that hard in Hellblade's case).
