I wouldn't say a flop but in my opinion gaming is less than the old days when you would buy a console with two controllers and a pack in game which is what I remember from my childhood and Nintendo consoles and I always had a blast playing for hours.

Now it seems all the consoles and gaming companies are focused on selling add-ons for games as opposed to making really good games.

I used to be a big fan of sports games but then the two biggest sports basketball and football got swallowed up by two companies who own the NFL and NBA licenses and they just put out the same old games year in year out with "My Team" or "Ultimate Team" modes designed to sell card packs in a quest to get the best players which seem to come in any variety of forms.

I think it would depend on the type of job but I think most people would just to have more time to do other things.

I have no idea if SS will be there when and if I reach that age but since I have been paying into it yes I plan on tapping into it.

I have family in the South so to me I never paid attention to it much but the deeper south you go the more noticeable it can be.

No I learned my CC experience the hard way during college and found out you cannot spend money that you actually do not have so I always make it a point to pay off any balance monthly but I rarely use CCs that much if I can avoid it.

Capitalism itself isn't the problem. The problem is unchecked capitalism and the wealth and power that goes with that allows a handful of people to wield and exert control over governments, people, commodities, and resources of the natural world.

That's the issue with unchecked capitalism.

I like American and gouda cheese when I make grilled cheese.

Tacos are expensive today.

Truth be told, I think it's due to price gouging. During the pandemic there were shortages and so price hikes were to be expected but that is not the case now so they're just jacking up prices because they can and because no one is paying attention.

Honestly I am trying to cut back on the fast food so I try to cook at least 4 to 5 meals per week at home. I usually hit the ff places if I'm out on weekends.

America for some reason hasn't gotten in line with the technology in toilets.

Like 5 minutes walking time literally. In fact I can walk to McDs, Chick Fil A, Chipotle, Smashbuger, Five Guys. Wendys and Red Robin.

These places are 5 to 15 minutes away from where I live.

I think I've been through about 6 PS2 slim consoles over the past 15 years or so and I botched the laser replacements when I tried to do it myself.
Now the laser on this one seems to be dying because games are stuttering and laser seems to be trying really hard, making noises to read discs.
I guess I should just invest in an external DVD drive for my PC so I can get PCSX2 because seems to be the only option to play my fucking PS2 discs. *Sigh

Like you I have went through more than 4 PS1 consoles and at least that many PS2 consoles and this was during their heyday so I have always felt that the Playstation line of consoles have been faulty from the PS1 onward but nobody sees the issues.

I have a PS5 that isn't even 3 months old and the dual sense controller is giving me the analog drift issue I had the same issue with my PS4 controller and I have had my PS4 repaired twice because it stopped reading discs.
