Let's start with Facebook a very unethical company which offers a "free service" for the sole purpose of exploiting its users. FB management has show a stubborn indifference to its users privacy concerns that uses annoying ads that clutter user pages and users of FB accept it and demand nothing.

I'll throw in the airlines industry which staged a coup and what emerged were the big 3. United, Delta and American which now hold what amounts to a cartel and a monopoly and people who fly willingly accept the abuse as long as fares are kept low. All 3 have become immensely profitable after realizing travelers have no limits to the amount of abuse they're willing to take.

In the banking industry Wells Fargo opened bogus accounts in the names of its customers without those people knowing about it and in the process damaging those peoples credit ratings and they got away with it and people said nothing.

Last but not least, the telecom industry in which allows Comcast and AT&T to name 2, to fleece its customers via bogus overpricing tactics and their horrible customer service. Comcast bought NBC Universal which gave them total control over several networks and again, consumers said nothing.

AT&T acquired Time Warner which gives them control over CNN, Warner Bros, and HBO and again consumers said nothing.

And there's plenty of other examples of how companies in the US fleece Americans and we as citizens stand by take it and say nothing.

We're getting what we deserve!

People are free to make their own medical decisions and if that person believes that prayer will help them, that's their business. Like medicine, either prayer will help or it won't but at the end of the day, we as individuals decide what's best for us which is why I am against vaccine mandates.

When we go to buy a car, we don't allow the salesman to pick a car for us. We pick the car we like and the one we decided on.

I can roller skate. During my high school days, we had a really big roller skate rink and on Fri and Sat nights we would all go and compete in roller skate contests. Great fun and great for meeting girls too and a lot of those people could skate their bleep off including some females.

I miss those days, The rink closed down in 2002 so now there's nowhere to go to roller skate anymore sadly where I live.

Well sadly, Americans have been duped and dumbed down for the past 4 decades so those people on gofundme know that and they use it to their advantage and if you're gullible to believe every sob story and send money to some stranger, that's on you.

Look at how gullible in regards to something like cell phones. As soon as Apple announces a new model of the iPhone, people rush out to get it even though their current phone works just fine, they'll go upgrade it in a heartbeat for no logical reason.

I understand your point but during ancient times your lot in life was solely dependent on your social status . In the Roman Colosseum, spectators were seated according to social status and sex, so slaves, the poor and women were seated high up in what we would call today the nose blood section of the arena based on their status in life and their importance,

The Elites were seated at ground level near the action where they had a ringside seat for all the gore.

Another interesting thing is how today modern arena's and structures are all built based on ancient Rome and ancient Greece structures with pillars and arches. Amazing when you think about the level of engineering and math used in ancient times to construct these structures using primitive tools.

But he probably has millions in stock so in reality he didn't take a pay cut and the thing that puzzles me about people in this country is how they accept CEOs making 20, 30, 40M annually all while paying people on the lower end of the pay scale barely $35,000 per year.

I remember when CEOs would take an annual pay of 1 dollar per year because the money made on investments was taxed much much much lower so they made their money from the company's stock they held which usually ran into the millions. So lets say a CEO owns 2M shares of his company's stock and that stock is at say $300 per share, you don't need to be a math wizard to figure out that the CEO is doing well.

Bezos was unloading 1 billion shares of Amazon stock annually to finance his space program.

That's what those idiots should have stormed the Capitol for and other crap like that.

According to experts, the stoned have machine tool marks as if they were cut with modern day stone cutting tools so the great mystery is and always has been, how did they do that. Same goes for the Roman Colosseum. Just the precise measurements is mind bogging.

These structures were built using what appears to be modern day tools and techniques yet no modern day tools were present back then so it is fascinating to say the least as to how they built these structures.

And keep in mind the Pyramids and the Colosseum were all built before the time of Christ.

The thing is the Pyramids and the Colosseum are mysteries in that they are all near perfect structures built during a time when there were no modern tools or machinery so from that standpoint, it's debatable whether they should be torn down but historically speaking, they still hold mysteries.

The Colosseum we all know entertained ancient Romans with gladiators who fought to the death and animals who were slaughtered for the sheer enjoyment of the citizens but the structures themselves are mind-blowing when you think about how they built them without the aide of modern tools or machinery,

I wear a mask when I enter a store or anywhere with a group of people because Covid is airborne so you don't have to be close to someone to contract it.

And we have people walking around without masks as if this thing suddenly disappeared and it hasn't and even with the vaccine, people are still getting the virus so I'd rather be safe than sorry.
