That's fair, but I'm still getting the impression that there will be plenty of interesting new content and places to explore even though it's the same basic world, not unlike what happened with ALBW. I don't think there's too much to worry about.

Yeah I think youre going to end up being correct. Im probably zeroing in on the whole recycled overworld thing way too much.

I guess the point I was trying to make was that I wish Tears of the Kingdom did an entirely new map, an entirely new depiction of Hyrule, or an altogether different world. I think that would have been more interesting. At the end of the day, though, I am still excited for this game.

Its the peak of basketball. Its better and more exciting than the NBA could ever dream of being. Even the NBA Finals arent this good.

I will never purchase/play Cyberpunk out of principle. Its beyond unacceptable that the game was released in the state it was. I dont care how much they eventually improved it. I will not support games being pushed out the door in a broken, abysmal state. That should not be something that we allow to become the industry standard. We should vote with our wallets to send a message that this practice is not okay, and we will not support it, even after you eventually get around to improving the game via updates.

I worked for about 40 years, and the worst jobs I ever had were the ones with nothing to do, where you just had to stand around and wait.

More work means time goes by faster and the day is done before you know it.

Hard work + more work means others will notice and want you to work for them.

I worked at Sears back in the early 2000's (like 2001), and constantly walked around to help customers etc, I ended up getting a management position offered to me from another store because of how hard I worked and how well I dealt with customers. People notice, not just the ones you work for, but customers etc.

Hard work is it's own reward, it's true, but it also usually leads to additional rewards, and if it doesn't eventually you can find another job where it does, and you have all that experience to bring with you.

This is a very good point. But itll fall on deaf ears here at best, and be excoriated at worst.

No. I support a unions right to strike only if the company also has the right to call their bluff and fire them. And sadly in most cases they dont due to labor laws from the FDR era (what an awful person he was btw). This is a blatant violation of freedom of association.
