So from what Ive researched on social stats the little music notes that pop up dont really mean anything. If you see just 1 note then you got 1 point, but if its 2 notes it could be 2-4 points. Heres what I know so far

The arcade and computer software you can get for the dorm computer give the most at 4 points per game/software so prioritize these if you can. Also group study sessions at the dorm before exams give 4 points in academics I believe

Secret menu items at restaurants that you have to unlock such as the full course seafood meal at Wakatsu give 3 points

Regular menu items at restaurants give 2 points. Karaoke gives 2 points in courage. Studying at the library gives 2 points in academics.

And then of course like I said anything that just shows one music note is one point

is there a third platter at the seafood place? I have 2, one costs more and give me an achievement but gives 2 points the same as the cheaper one

same thing with wild duck. Both foods give 2 points

I almost wonder if the visual points on screen are misleading. Like maybe youre getting more than the game actually shows? Because it is strange that both dishes would do the same thing when one is more expensive and has a charm prerequisite >_>

I just want to max courage and charm. It feels like a waste of time to do it early due to freebie points throughout the game for stuff like acing exams. But if you dont do it early you cant s-link fuuka

For academics Ive been using the seafood place. One your charm is high enough they offer a platter which gives better academic gains. For charm/courage I work at the coffee shop which has the bonus of money on top. Money seems a lot tighter this go around

I do really like that alternate battle music isnt tied to costumes like in P5

Really like the new outfits myself. Theurgy makes killing wealth hands so much easier. MC building it up via switching personas makes it so easy to use the Jack bros Theurgy as much as possible.

They seem a little over designed to me, but Im leaving them on for now to give them a chance to grow on me. Im glad they at least give you the option to switch back to the regular outfits. I do like the headset on Fuuka, though.

The new theurgy mechanic is cool. Its basically just limit breaks. Not sure if Im a fan of the new outfits

Interesting how theyve made Fuukas enemy analysis an ability that costs SP. Makes the SP increases she gets from leveling up actually relevant

The cap is 6 iirc for P3, which is one more than P4 and P5.

I know. Im saying being halfway by June in all 3 stats is pretty quick progress. Compared to the original I feel like it took longer

It feels easier to raise social stats this time around. It might just be because there are more options for activities at night, but Im on 6/1 and I already have all 3 stats at rank 3 which seems kinda quick

It would look fine if the dancers had even just a couple of frames of animation. Just a bit of motion on screen would make it look so much better

Comic artist who writes unnecessarily "edgy" stuff in his comics. Many of his adaptations are toned way down, like Kick-Ass and Wanted. It ranges from cringey or flat out tasteless.

Kick-Ass is one of the worst comics Ive ever read. Great movie, though

Star Fox 64 is indeed one of the GOATs. I really wish Nintendo would make another game like it. It shouldnt be that difficult. Really tight controls, branching paths, multiple endings.

I mean, I understand why they dont (kiddos today would think a short game- no matter how fun and replayable it is - is a RiPoFf) but maybe someday.

They almost got it right with Star Fox Zero but then Miyamoto had to do what he does best and slap on a gimmick nobody wanted with motion controls

I know we already had stuff like the dancing games and persona 4 arena, but seeing the persona 3 cast all....non-chibi, tall/regular body proportions, beautiful n' handsome, and HDey is pretty nice.

It did, but it was pretty inconsequential since the boss went down pretty easily and didnt really have any scary attacks.

I swear she had either way more HP this time or high defense because I was doing nowhere near as much damage. I ended the fight with 30 seconds left and everyones health at critical >_>

Eh, I feel like playing that way kinda ruins the experience. The whole point of the game is that youre not really meant to see everything. The game expects you to budget your time and make decisions on how to spend it based on what you consider to be important. Thats why these games are damn near impossible to 100% without following a specific guide to the letter, because you arent really meant to. Youre meant to just go with the flow.

But its a single player game so by all means play however you want, I just wanted to drop my take on it

Oh thank god theres no longer a limit on Elizabeths requests. Only having 3 at a time was so annoying. Plus the ones that require you to get items from your party members no longer have to be done on specific dates

The Priestess fight seemed considerably more difficult. The fight is easy as fuck in the original but I almost died here. Playing on hard

You might enjoy P1 and the P2 duology more, since the social sim stuff was introduced in 3. I'd give the modern games a try anyway though, they balance the social sim and jrpg elements very well.

I second this. P1 and P2 are much closer to your standard SMT fare than P3-5. I would recommend P2. P1 hasnt aged very well but 2 still holds up

How do you guys feel about the new voice cast? The new Junpei is doing a pretty solid impression of the original but the rest throw me off. Yukari sounds completely different and Im so used to Tara Platts distinct voice as Mitsuru that it just sounds wrong. Akihiko is alright

I love that you can go to the strip mall at night now. Iirc you could only go to Paulownia Mall and I think the shrine in the original. It opens up more options

Ehh. In the dorm theme Lotus Juice sounds bored. The original had so much more energy. Maybe its intentionally a bit more laid back this time though since the dorm is kinda your safe hub of sorts

Thats a carryover from P3P. In that version MC could only uses short swords and FeMC could only use spears. I think this was an attempt to balance the MC a little and have them fit a more defined role

It really throws me off that the button to attack shadows is square and not X like the original
