Because any free game can be paid for, but it's 100% optional if the person downloading would like to give money to the person who created it or just download it for free instead (like pay what you want, minimum of 0 dollars thing)

praying mantises are the best! I buy mantis eggs each year and place them in the bushes around my garden. then in around June, my entire backyard has hundreds of those guys waging war against all of the insects that eat my plants. it's great.
I also do lacewings, cus those eat stinkbugs and wasps but sometimes those start fighting the mantises.

I generally eat pretty healthy, but sometimes I'll eat empty calorie foods cus I'll be at a huge deficit some days.

can I get banned by receiving items that may or may not be legit (like in GTA Online if someone drops cash near you, you can get banned if they cheated to get it and you pick it up)

cus I was minding my own business and someone traded me a bank bond for free, and I sold it on the Grand Exchange for a ton of gp. I think more gp than I've ever had in this game lol.

so if i made a game with factions of NPCs, who can wander freely, fight each other, and then those fights affect their stats/equipment, all while the player actions also have an effect on NPCs... I will get sued?

it's almost as dumb as Crazy Taxi patenting their car arrow and pedestrians that jump out of the way of your car. I've had to put off publicly posting my game until I was able to confirm that the patent is expired (it is now, but still)
I think the pedestrians jumping out of the way is still under some sort of protection, so studios like Rockstar have to pay money to Sega whenever they release games cus GTA pedestrians also jump out of the way.

mine's in splinter cell's multiplayer (i think chaos theory), you could play online with a friend and voice chat within the game. but, the volume of how loudly you or your friend talk into the mic would alert nearby guards to your position.

so it made it so you had to be careful about not talking too loudly or pick and choose when you talk.

kinda cool, especially for a stealth game.

is the civic a 1.5 or 2.0 engine? if it's the 2.0, get it 100%. if it's the 1.5, it might have an issue w/ oil dilution. The problem was fixed in recent years so a 2021 may not have that issue, just something to consider.

corolla's have a very solid engine too, you'll need to get it looked at to check for oil burning at around 150k, but once that's out of the way it can easily last 250+ k miles.

I don't know what you're doing, but I never have rice stick to my regular stainless steel pot. Maybe you're not using enough water in the regular pot. A regular pot likely takes more water since more of the water gets boiled away.

yeah i think its the width of the pot (i own one pot and it's meant for making soups, so its pretty large) or maybe my stovetop cus on the lowest setting, it will still boil water.
i hate it, its an induction stovetop. they're supposed to be good for everything but i personally cannot stand cooking with it unless its something that requires high heat. this thing heats up FAST

Rice cookers also have a coating on the pot, there is a reason why there are usually instructions not to use metal utensils and to gently clean the pot.

oh yeah i'm super careful about it. luckily it's not teflon (plz dont use this if you can help it) but the instructions do say no metal utensils. i can't read it very well since its all in japanese and idk kanji very well.

but yeah, its my absolute favourite. any rice fanatic should own one.

idk, my rice cooker is ceramic. i always figured it was either cus of that or because the cooking chamber thing is actually sealed rather than just a lid being placed on top like cooking it in a pot.

rice never burns or sticks to the sides/bottom like when using a pot. i make rice daily and cleaning rice stuck to the bottom can get pretty annoying.
with the rice cooker, i just measure the water and rice for the portion i want, press a button, and wait. it can keep rice warm throughout the day (aka perfect for me) and cleaning it is super easy cus like 3-5 grains stick to it and that's it.

it can also do slow cooking and steaming which is cool, cus a lot of times i wanna heat up chili i made then froze, or steam some broccoli and not have to worry about using the stove/pans/the full sized slow cooker.

it's pretty great cus i can basically pick my food for that day, whether its rice or chili, or whatever. put it in the rice cooker, and then i have hot food waiting for me whenever i get hungry.
i originally bought it when i had an office job, and would just fill it at home and bring it with me to work, but now i just use it at home as a "do everything in small portions" type of thing.

probably the most fun i've had with game dev was building a grappling system when I was building my generalized character framework.

as a cat fanatic, this is how i'd approach things

number one, give the delinquent cat a space that nobody can get to. not you, not your little one, and not the other cat.
ideally this is when one cat is smaller than the other, simply make an opening where the larger cat can't enter.
alternatively, if your cat is a percher, give it somewhere to perch. if they're a burrower, give them a new space to burrow.
you can also do things like have the normal behaving cat wear a bell around their neck, and have your baby do the same. this way the cat will know the baby is coming and can leave the situation before getting mad.

number two, cats can get jealous. if you've had them since they were little, and now they're 10. they might think you're deliberately giving more attention to the new addition to the house. try to spend some time playing with them, go out of your way to feed them treats

number three, get some cat calming pheromone diffusers and put them throughout your house. they are fairly expensive, but they work. i have a rescue cat that was very, very aggressive towards my other cat. now she's still a jerk, but she's chill about it. like she will hiss and walk away rather than go on the offensive.

number four, if the cat is pooping outside of the box, they're trying to tell you something. could be sick, could be pissed, or most likely, could be extremely stressed out. have you taken them to the vet?

number five, Vetoquinol Zylkene. it's an over the counter mood stabilizer you can give your cat. if you take them to the vet and they determine that it's simply acts of aggression, they will most likely give them this to try. I would still consult with your vet prior to buying it on your own.

number six, exposure therapy. in tandem with some of the above, bring the cat into a room that it doesn't mind staying in and have it be a room with the pheromone diffusers.
take some warm butter (NOT HOT) and dip your cats paws into it. the cat will start to be 100% focused on cleaning themselves, generally speaking they only clean when they are comfortable. as they are cleaning, sit in the room with your baby and don't acknowledge the cat. just show the cat they can be vulnerable in the presence of the baby.
then work your way up to getting the cat okay with playing while the baby is nearby, etc. just show the cat the baby is not a threat or something that will impose on them.

number seven, do you have any close friends or family that the cat has gotten along with in the past? I would ask them to adopt the cat before taking it to a shelter.
even a no-kill shelter, you have no idea their standards. you have no idea what kind of person will adopt your cat.
I would give the cat to a shelter as a 100% last resort when you have tried everything.

i play osrs pretty casually, but it's "active" in the sense that there are a good amount of players, but they aren't as talkative as they were in the past. I think it's a lot of bots or something

the game itself is basically the same as runescape 2 but there's a trading center in it called the grand exchange. idk if that was added in 3, or part of 2 and it was added after i stopped playing.

runescape 3 is alright, but i don't like it as much. my character from runescape 2 transferred to 3, and then i had to start over at tutorial island when i logged into osrs. idk if there is a way to get around that.

lol. attraction to a video game character doesn't even begin to describe it.

do you have lots of standing water in your area? like when it rains, do puddles form on grass? clover is generally pretty tolerant, but can have trouble forming if there is a lot of salinity in the soil or a lot of water. you generally want soil that is rich in phosphorous.

for seeding, you'll want to really cut down your grass where you want to seed the cloves. i'd go as short as possible and mow it twice just to make sure. then before seeding, dethatch your lawn which will pull at grass roots and start exposing soil while also tilling it.
don't worry about getting all the grass, clove will out-compete most grass species.
also, even if you keep a traditional bluegrass lawn, dethatching is a great way to clear dead grass and encourage growth of healthy grass

then water it daily for 4-6 weeks to keep it moist but not soaked. depending on your area, if you want a non-traditional grass lawn, clove might not be the best alternative. creeping mazus and creeping thyme are both good lawn plants that don't require much, if any, mowing and creeping thyme looks really great if you like purple.

i'd try it in a small area first and find what the best "fit" for your location is before doing a full lawn so you don't accidentally tear up the entire thing just for whatever species you plant to not be a good fit for your zone, soil, even shade conditions (clover is shade tolerant but prefers sunlight)

I haven't read this entire blogpost, but from glancing through it, it seems fairly comprehensive.
the method I did was a lot of trial and error and luck, so idk if it's the "right" way. basically I just mowed, dethatched, seeded, and waited for a small area of clove to establish. when that took, I slowly nurtured it so that it would spread over time.

it's great, idk how they stay in business cus the portions are huge for what it costs. $10.95 for 3 decent sized chicken breasts, a fat bowl of rice, and a fat bowl of either lo mein, chow mein, or egg drop soup.
it can easily last me 2 or maybe 3 meals.

learn to be safe horny. keep your horny under lock and key.

also stop fertilizing your lawn unless you hate the environment, then go ahead. if you're gonna keep shit grass like 99% of americans, use mycorrhizae inoculant instead of toxic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
you can grow what's called a cover crop or other crop that acts a pest deterrent. they also help with reducing weeds.

idk, anyone could apply. that's what i did. I just sent my resume like 20 min before making the topic. I doubt it will come of anything, but who knows?
I've prob applied at 100 large tech/software/game companies, most of which I'm completely unqualified for, but have gotten calls back to say "thanks but sorry we dont want u" (its usually email) from a handful and interviews from a couple (obv not hired) so maybe it's worth trying just because.
One of them was a very difficult interview and made me realize I have a lot to improve with stuff like programming and game structure/design, so it's like free school in a sense.
