If you think that's bad, remember how fucked up Everwild's development has been. The project lead is someone only experienced in animation and voice acting and MS greenlit it with no proof-of-concept or tangible work done. When the premier trailer dropped, the only work done on the game were assets made just for the trailer. Since then the project's creative director left and it got rebooted from scratch.

The problem is there's no target market for this particular model. It's very impressive and OP but completely useless in a lot of realistic scenarios. If you insist on using pro-level media creation software for work it makes no sense not to just spend slightly more money on a full-fledged Mac/PC. If you're in the market for just a tablet then the cheaper iPad models are a much better alternative.

Apple's gimping their iPads by not redesigning iPadOS to have better multitasking and multi-windowed support. It already has full keyboard/mouse support and even the crappier, older models still run buttery smooth.

I'm from the area and it completely nailed down mid-00s NY/North Jersey to the point where even the radio stations had accurate imitations of the drops and promos from their RL counterparts. Even the part of the map based on NJ where there's not much going on is still pretty damn accurate.

Compare that to GTA V where the map feels like something the devs made by using Google Maps + Street View as a reference and the remaining 2/3 of the map is just a cartoonish amalgamation of the Southwest.

GTA IV is still the most immersive GTA in the entire series and is a lot more accurate to its RL setting/time period than even V is.

Like it obviously doesn't absolve him in any way of the crime, but it's clear the school failed in a number of ways here. It just looks bad because the perpetrator filed this suit and not the victim.

The student has a history of aggressive, hostile behavior towards staff and taking this at face value, his presumed sensory needs/accommodations begin and end with being able to play video games at any time present. Unless the school's staff unanimously has no experience or credentials, I can't imagine any scenario where a special education department and IEP case manager would sign off on a primary accomodation being "(student) must play their Nintendo Switch whenever necessary or else they become violent".

If a student's basic ability to behave and not beat the shit out of staff hinged on requiring constant audiovisual and tactile stimuli specifically in the form of video games, there's not a chance in hell their IEP case manager wouldn't have recommended placement in a special school for students with severe behavioral and sensory issues. If this was the case, and I don't think it is, then the school deserves a ton of blame and should have their special education department and adiminstration investigated by the district or state department of education.
