Like, seeing what a bunch of paint and plushies and instruments look like when they get vertically crushed is kinda awesome. It's unfortunate that, due to the whole AI techbro phenomenon ongoing, this ad is being interpreted as "these creative tools are useless now" and not "iPad have Garage Band and Spotify". I guess someone in the marketing team should've known how this might've gone down, though.

The problem is there's no target market for this particular model. It's very impressive and OP but completely useless in a lot of realistic scenarios. If you insist on using pro-level media creation software for work it makes no sense not to just spend slightly more money on a full-fledged Mac/PC. If you're in the market for just a tablet then the cheaper iPad models are a much better alternative.

Apple's gimping their iPads by not redesigning iPadOS to have better multitasking and multi-windowed support. It already has full keyboard/mouse support and even the crappier, older models still run buttery smooth.

The "progress will take away old thing and replace it with a soulless machine" perspective predates the current AI menace.
