That's true. As always we are primed for that three way tie but some team will probably lose their last six games to prevent it. The Cards have 80 wins with 10 left to play, and here's what they have:

3@PIT
4 vs. CHC
3 vs. MIL

They've played poorly against the Brewers and terribly against the Cubs this year but have done alright against the Pirates. Still, getting 6 more wins would be a good result with that schedule but I think that's doable. 86 wins might be the sweet spot for a tie because it relies on the Rockies not just taking command of the situation again so we need them to play badly. But also as we head into these theoretical results, don't forget my semi prediction that the Rockies will make it in only because the Cards will sweep the Brewers in the final series.

I used rabbid mario for a few rounds and he's pretty badass but then I traded him out to reconvene with Team Luigi. The shotgun is fun but he's not as useful to the team since he basically occupies the role of a second Mario

I agree they don't fit the scheme but that's also why they're probably the least ugly color rush uniforms

He had a booth set up with the flappy bird thing off to the side. It was just a bonus thing he brought to be cute. His real game was bad too.

I went to an indie games convention in St louis this year and someone had made a flappy bird hack so it used an NES pad. It's a wicked stupid game but it was fun all those decades ago.

Well I could just text you about this stuff instead at this point but I want to make the record show that I meant we probably got it when we got the system, not in general. Some games we had do blur with ones borrowed from friends though. We never actually owned Goldeneye I don't think

You're right, at least for sure with Kirby. Another game we didn't really like that much. We probably had Super Mario 64 as well but I can't remember

Our first N64 game was Jet Force Gemini which we didn't really like too much. It came in a bundle at Sam's club for our main birthday present. We were really more of a PS1 family to be honest. N64 didn't become a big thing until Goldeneye for us and then when we got into old games years down the line.

Cards and Brewers both lost and the Rockies won. Still a little bit of time left for someone to make a run at them I guess but the Rockies are starting to look relatively safe again at 3.5 and 4.5 up on their competition with 13 or 14 games to go. It's hard to imagine either NL Central reaching 89 wins at this point but that shouldn't be too hard for the Rockies. Plus the Cards and Brewers play each other in the last weekend of the regular season which is a classic spoiler situation in the works.

The Rockies meanwhile get the Padres and Giants a bunch to close the season before finishing with the Dodgers who may be resting their guys. My prediction is that the Rockies will win the wild card by one game and it comes down to the Cardinals or Brewers series. Like the Rockies and Brewers enter the series tied and the Cardinals sweep the Brewers.

It is magic that if Bradford looks awesome he's about to go down for the year.
