Probably not. He is probably enjoying the attention and he wants to make the United States look foolish. Anything is possible. Hopefully he did "wuss out", but he probably wants people to be caught off guard if he decides to invade.

Yeah. I've had to make my salads at home now before I go to work. The days that I forget or don't have it, well guess I have to either pay an arm and a leg for a salad out in the world, or eat something more unhealthy. It sucks.

Personally for me, ....No. I cook a lot, and I have experience with both gas and electric, and gas is far superior. I had an electric stove for 2 years in my old apartment, and it sucked. I would find myself burning things, and hated the wait for it to "warm up". There's like a "crap factor" when it comes to adjusting how you cook on an electric stove, imo.

One key advantage to having the gas is during a blackout you can still cook and use your burners. That is a HUGE deal to someone who doesn't own a generator or anything of the like during a power outage (especially during the winter where it would be difficult to start my outside grill).

Now, one thing I don't have a lot of experience with are induction ovens/stoves. I've used that maybe a handful of times, so that's why this topic is here. Not sure how good they are compared to electric.

I'm not going to give up gas anything until the government goes after the big boys, first. When I see the cruise industry finally being effected by their extreme use of fossil fuels or people who own private jets....then I will consider using other things. Until then, me as the little guy, I'm not changing.

Call me some 20 years ago when I might have cared.

Our current President couldn't beat 1-1 of Super Mario Bros so he won't be playing this anytime soon.

yeah, seriously its like one of the worst season 3 episodes. The episode feels like it belongs in season 2.

Lmfao he hasnt been creatively involved in a very long time. If you listen to the commentary on the season 11 DVDs he openly admits he hasnt seen some of the episodes of that season. He basically ditched The Simpsons when he started working on Futurama.

As far as I know he only wrote one episode (Lurleen Lumpkin) and hasnt wrote another since. Though with all the new episodes maybe he has . The only thing (recently) he probably had input in was The Simpsons movie.

dude hasnt cared about The Simpsons since the 90s. But hell take the pay checks lol.

I rewatched this during my 2 week excursion into Covid back in December and it got me through one tough night. Great movie.

How is it "pushing conservative ideals" when that literally is reality? One parent who has to work full time and make, potentially, half the the money, is never going to be able to fulfill both roles, and give enough attention to their children as two parents do/can. The statistics of not having a father-figure or two parents are all there ...the conclusion is obvious. You're more likely to get into trouble from a single parent household...on average. Exceptions certainly can happen.

Religion solves a problem for people. The question of "where do we go when we die?" Religion helps people mourn dead loved ones. Believing in religion helps some people behave better when they're following the ten commandments. Some people have deeply religious experiences thru meditation. Some people have deeply religious experiences thru prayer. Some people have experienced Near Death Experiences, and came back believing in a higher power (these possibly can be explained thru science and what the brain does when it begins to shut down, sure).

You don't necessarily NEED religion to be a good person, obviously. You can have your own morals and be a nice person without it. Some of us feel like we have a deep connection to our souls thru religion. It helps us get through the day or get over the hardships of life. For these people, their religion doesn't even have to be real. It's helping them and their mental health.

Like I get what you are attempting to get at Caution999, where one selectively believes in science..... but the two fundamentally contradict each other.

A person of faith selectively believes in science that doesn't shatter their faith. To say they believe I'm both is simply not accurate and for the lack of a better word, disingenuous.

I understand the contradictions, but all I am saying is an individual can be the best scientist on this planet, but in their downtime have religious beliefs. As long as they're able to separate both when they're doing their work...people like this....exist. I've met them.

I'm not saying a belief in God has to follow the scientific method. I'm saying a religious person can both be religious and believe in science. You guys are over-evaluating my posts.
