Now? Now you really cant pursue someone further than, No. Its like, OK, cool. But then theres the, Oh whyd you give up? And its like, Well, because I didnt want to go to jail?

I'm not against the idea of "no overarching final chapter". To play devil's advocate, many games have tried to "tie everything together", and I can't say they do well every time. Either they end up focusing too much on one or two favorite characters and everyone else falls by the wayside, or they try to even it out and it ends up diluted. Or it's simplistic, like one bad guy who was like "I'm behind it all!" and everyone just has to kill him, which is kinda bog-standard.

But we'll see.

These kinds of policies you really need to spell out and have documented. It's how you avoid court cases for wrongful termination. I don't know if Error's assertion about ArenaNet's social media policy is true, but it's absolutely beneficial to the company to make these things clear.
