Congratulations. I just wish you could have transitioned sooner. I cry every time I think of all the transgender youth being denied the chance to live life as they truly are even at this late stage in life it is still amazing now you get a chance to actually be you not the person society said you should be screw all the bigots.

I'm 37. I wish I could have done it as a teenager. But nevertheless, I'm still happy.

If you're in the closet, I know how you feel. It feels truly hopeless. At my worst, I lived an entirely fake life here just to "feel" like a woman. And it's all I thought I had. In that first picture, I was only days away from having suicidal thoughts. I don't have any great words wisdom, but I will say that choosing to embrace who you are will make you happier. It's okay to be you.

At 10 months in, I've noticed a definite decrease in muscle mass. But I had also bulked pretty hard before transition in a last desperate grasp at masculinity lol. I'm not lifting at all anymore to help move things along.

Skin complexion has definitely improved, which is typically one of the earlier changes of HRT. It goes a long way though, your face is noticeably softer. The rest of the changes like facial fat and muscle changing will come with time, so you'll only look even better with time TC!

I can't wait for the muscles in my shoulders to get smaller. I know that takes a year or two, but I'm excited.

I just want to add that I have so much joy in the fact that I can post my pictures without any shame. I'm proud of how my transition is going and I'm proud of being the authentic real me.

Although, I will say my goal chest size was 38B in 2 years. I hit that in 3 months. HRT is wild.

Anyway, I'm not familiar with all the "lies" or whatnot, but they don't seem malicious. You always struck me as a decent sort.

As someone with a trans spouse and who is also technically somewhere on the trans spectrum themselves (although it could just be outright body disassociation; who knows!), I certainly understand things being tumultuous and/or confusing.

CE and message boards were basically my only way to "live" as a woman, even though it wasn't real. I didn't know what else to do in order to feel affirmed.

Now that I'm transitioning, I just want to be authentically myself. And I can finally call myself a woman and really mean it.

If you're a doctor your not likely to be wearing dark blue nursing scrubs, and if the organization you practice for was cool with that you'd likely be wearing a white coat to differentiate yourself as a doctor.

So... There's my skepticism. The mods think I'm calling you out for lying about being trans, I don't think you're a doctor. Well, except for bra shopping. That is a huge pain in the ass.

For the longest time, I just used sports bras because they have general sizing, but I eventually measured myself and got actual fitted bras. But even then, shopping for them was a pain.
