Speedrunning has never been my thing, outside of actual racing games. It's the polar opposite of what I enjoy about games; taking my time and doing my own thing.
I like ones that are displays of amazing technical gameplay and skill, i dont like the ones which are just perform same glitch 50 times in a row until they finally teleport to the end game flag or whatever.

But that is actually a legit argument in a lot of speedrunning communities lol.

Some games do as soon as press start, some do on first movement and some allow a pre-prepared save file from after all opening scenes/tutorials have been complete.

The statistical analysis on high school grads vs. university grads is pretty unambiguous that a person with a post-secondary education is much more likely to earn more money than a person without. In the US, the Social Security Administration found that the benefits of a university level degree, on average, amount to between $600,000 and $1.5 million over the course of a career ($450,000 and $655,000 when correcting for socio-demographic variables).

Source: https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/research-summaries/education-earnings.html

Admittedly, this is based on 2004 data, so it's a little out of date, but those findings have been repeated in other analysis. The 2017 Canadian census, for instance, showed that those who had at least a bachelor's degree earned, on average, 20% (for men) to 40% (for women) more than a high school graduate.

Source: https://www12.statcan.gc.ca/census-recensement/2016/as-sa/98-200-x/2016024/98-200-x2016024-eng.cfm

Obviously, yes, your earning power will depend on your field - someone who graduates with a bachelor's of engineering or an M.D. is going to be pulling in a lot more money on average than someone with a degree in art history. And yes, someone with no post-secondary education can still make it big if they have the correct skillset and opportunity, but on the aggregate a degree is still a net positive in the majority of cases.
That first survey is useless to what i said, it is comparing people working jobs that require higher education to people who dont. I got bored and didn't bother looking at the second one.

It is not taking into account the millions of people who get higher education and end up working at starbucks or wherever.

Its just like the biggest meme of all, the gender pay gap.

We talking personal debt or sovereign debt?

Either way, debt can absolutely make you money; it depends on what you spend it on. If you take out a loan to go on an all-expenses paid trip to the Bahamas that you otherwise wouldn't be able to afford, that's bad debt and you'll wind up more financially screwed afterwards. If you instead take out a loan to go to university and upgrade your credentials so you can get a higher-paying job, the increase in your earning power could (potentially significantly) outstrip the costs of financing the loan, which means you're overall making money on the deal.
Everyone i know who spent 4-6 years at college/university earn less than me who barely passed high school, except they have a bunch of debt as well.

The 'go to higher education to earn more money' meme is only true for a small percentage of fields and on average, i bet 4-6 years of real work experience and networking gives people better prospects.

My natural walking speed is about 3.3 mph. In 30 minutes, I can walk about 1-2/3 miles. Most people my age average about 2.75 mph, and people below 30 years old average about 3.0.

If I push myself I can easily hit 4 mph on varied terrain, so that's 2 miles in half an hour, and I can easily exceed that on flat, level ground. Most people cannot walk much faster than 5.5 mph; beyond that most people will break into a jog, which is a different stride.

Walking involves keeping one foot on the ground at all times, jogging and running involve both feet being in the air at least momentarily.

Possibly real. Happened to my brother once. I think it was a bachelor party of some sort he was crashing on someone's couch. He woke up still drunk in the middle of the night didn't recognize where he was left wearing only one shoe. Went to a gas station got directions to where he just was, got lost broke into the neighbor's garage thinking it was the right house and passed out on the floor of their garage.

There was also the time he got so drunk he thought he was still living with his ex. Broke into her apartment that he used to live in before they broke up and passed out on the couch.

My brother really shouldn't drink.
And he could write perfectly legible while drunk like in the fake text exchange at the same time?

The first half was fun, i really liked how rhey leant in to the silliness of it all. It fell apart once it got to the real world though.

Will Ferrel and the boardmen were just too silly, even foe an already silly movie, and didn't add at all to the plot.

I'm also not quite sure what the message was..? Men don't actually know what they want and thats bad for women so women need to manipulate men to get their own way.

A $1 million dollars isn't just "money"....it's a restart, it's life with a universal adapter attached.

You're slaving away being a wage-cuck, and notice a suitcase on the ground, you open it up, there's a million dollars, take the money and run, fast... Run to Mexico, or SEA, anywhere were western dollars can stretch far, and live independently wealthy for the rest of your life.
Run, until you get pulled over at the border and have to try and explain where you got 1mil cash and why you are trying to flee the country, just to have confiscated.

Or decide to stay in the country, and realize a million dollars isn't going to last long, however, you can still use the money to go to college, buy a house and squat in it forever. .....basically this:
Or realise it will last a very long time because you wont be able to do anything big with that amount of cash if you can't provide a receipt of where it came from.

unfortunately that's not the case in Famicom FF3... Boost (BuildUP) is a multiplier to "Final Damage" which is after defense has already been calculated.

Also, found out that while using boost you are hit with the vulnerable status and take double base damage as well (but not double healing :B)

Also, the bonus Final Damage from Dragoon's jump is also x3, so jumping is as much damage as a double Boost assuming you have the same base attack
Oh. Well thats just stupid.

Sigh, because there is one defense check. You hit 3 x with 10 attack but enemy has 5 defense. Total damage 15

You boost twice to do 3x damage, now 1 hit for 30, defense still 5. Total damage 25.

Final damage is now 66% more than without boosting over the 3 turns.

I used to enjoy reaction vids at first, it was interesting seeing what people outside my usual peer group think about the things i like.

Now, just like with anything else that becomes popular and profitable, it became crap.

Now its stuck in my algorithm, im constantly bombarded by thumbnails of some goon, mouth agape acting like they are mind blown. Even worse the odd one i do end up clicking on out of boredom, the reactions are so fake and they act as if it is the best thing they have ever seen as they try to pander to people to pay them to react to their favourite videos.
