I cancelled my subscription last month. I was still really enjoying it and my guild was pretty active (moreso now that they've moved to a really populated server), but I had other games to play and most nights it felt like I was playing because if I didn't, someone else would take my spot.

If it goes free to play, I might pick it back up. I really wanna finish some of the storylines.

I'll agree with you about that promise line. I thought it would have made much more sense for Gwen to think that Peter was guilty because he let her dad get killed and was distancing himself. Dunno how she didn't jump to that conclusion.

The only other problem I had was, it would have been better if they'd padded it out with a few more scenes of Spider-Man actually saving people after he figured out he liked doing it. It just seemed like after saving the kid, for the rest of the film he was focused entirely on fighting Lizard and nothing else.

Wait, he bought the web-fluid? I took it that he researched it online and then stole/took it from OsCorp. Didn't they show them mass-producing it in that lab where he found the spiders? He's there quite a lot, don't see why he couldn't just nab a box or two.


Also, I said before seeing the movie and I'll still say it afterwards, J.K. Simmons is such a perfect J. Jonah Jameson, that they're going to have a hard time re-casting him. Which is, I think, the reason he wasn't in this one.

I love the convenience and there are moments where it's fun to go fast, but I hate the expense, the other idiots on the road and the stop-start nature of city driving, which is the majority of what I do.

Well you're far more at risk right now, where trillions of your cells are dying and getting replaced. Within one year, none of the same atoms you're composed of now will remain. Wouldn't your anti teleportation preference also a strong desire to invent a time stopping device so that none of your cells are replaced?

Well, that's what we are. The difference is that in the natural flow of time, the cells are dying and being replaced gradually at such a rate that it is unnoticeable. In the case of teleportation (at least in the Star Trek way), all of your cells are destroyed at once and then copied. You would die and an exact copy would take your place on the other end with all your memories and personality and who believes they are the original.

To the outside world, your existence would continue as normal through the teleported copy, but the original you is dead and gone.

I suppose you could argue against this if you believe in souls, but, well, I don't.

I liked Duke Nukem. In the first five minutes of the game, I drew a moustache on a picture of a robot and the game gave me an achievement for doing so.

Italy had 63% possesion, 31 shots and 18 on target. Compared to England's 37%, 8 and 4 respectively, yes, Italy dominated.

I don't even like football, but even I know the goals are a small part of the game. It's the bits inbetween that people like. If you just care about the result, why watch the game at all? Why not just check the results afterwards?

I always play games with subtitles on, so that I never miss the dialogue. I normally play with the English voices if they're good, except in certain circumstances (e.g. the One Piece games, I watch the anime in Japanese, so I play the games with the Japanese voices because they're what I'm used to, if there's the option to).

The first two didn't come out in America, but they did get a European release and the last one, despite maybe not being a great game, is still worth playing just for the experience (kinda like Nier).

Came out a few days ago, cute little game about a window cleaner called Edgar trying to woo the girl of his dreams whilst keeping his brother out of trouble.

It's 2D and features a bunch of handrawn animations by a few ex-Disney animators. S'only £1.99/$2.99



Pretty short and the only reply value is in watching all the different ways to make Edgar fail, but it's still a cool little purchase.
