I do agree that movies have been generally sterilized and had their rough edges rounded down. I can't imagine movies like The Warriors or Road House being made today, both in style and substance. Sex is an important part of life and just as worthy of depiction as violence, although I do think it is inherently less visually interesting than violence.

Kiwami 2 is easily the worst of the Yakuza games I've played (0, 3, and both Kiwamis). The combat is the shallowest in the series (that I've played), and the game actively looks worse than its predecessors and takes WAY more resources so that some lights can look slightly better. I have never played a more unstable game on PC, either. K2 crashed on me at least 200 times, and at least half of those were just from opening the game. It's not like the story is any good, either.

If it doesn't explain everything that our current models explain and also make falsifiable predictions then it is worthless

The people that hate Luke in TLJ forget that he even has a character, they just want him to be a badass that swings around his laser sword.

They both need dramatic overhauls to be truly great.

Your starting deck sucks. Add as many Attacks that aren't outright dogshit as you can and remove as many Strikes as you can. Additionally, some cards singlehandedly win you an encounter, and you want to run that card for that encounter even if it's a dead draw every other time.

Limit Break and any Strength generation for Ironclad can win you the game outright.

ALWAYS pick up Wraith Form as Silent, it can singlehandedly win you the game.

Pick up Biased Cognition, Defragment, Iceberg, Electrodynamics, and Echo Form whenever you can when playing as Defect. Buffer is also an incredible card.

Any time you see Rushdown as Watcher, pick it up. It is capable of completely breaking the game in half.

I've only ever seen "compendium" used by Image Comics, and when it's used like that it's almost always identical to an omnibus. An omnibus is all-encompassing, usually collecting every single story related to whatever comic it's about; for example, the Infinite Crisis trade paperback collects only Infinite Crisis, and the Infinite Crisis omnibus collects all tie-ins and crossovers with the Infinite Crisis branding. I've also seen "Absolute" as branding for something between the two.
