Once you get to the end of the original run, just stop. The 2010s renewal seasons are terrible.

Not entirely true. Season 10 isn't anything special aside from one episode that is great. But the current season is actually really good.

And yeah, definitely watch that movie in between season 5 and 6. It's pretty important. There's also a second movie that takes place after Season 9 ends, but that's not important and also not very good.

The one ring was created by Sauron to enhance his powers. Sauron above all else had the power to dominate the wills everyone in middle earth.

The lesser rings were created to help bend people to his will even more. Look at the one ring as a buff to Sauron psychic stat and the lesser rings are psychic debuff.

The elves found out about this and took the rings off. The dwarves didnt care about anything but gold and jewels so they couldnt be controlled. We know what happened to the men who were given rings.

Even Sauron didnt know that he was the only one that could wield it. Which is why Ford/Sam were able to succeed. Sauron was sure that everyone would use the ring not destroy it.

Is it ever mentioned what happened to the Elves' rings? Were they destroyed or are they still out there?

The Elves' rings were never influenced by Sauron. Elrond, Galadriel, and Gandalf were in possession of them throughout LOTR.

No I don't think so. Sauron's actions in the books seem to indicate he's actually quite terrified of someone using the ring against him. I believe he was under the impression that Aragorn had the One Ring and was marching on the Black Gate to overthrow him.

Maybe because of the nature of the three main characters, they never got an equivalent in Termina. But they did in Lorule, so that's kind of strange.

I guess Termina was meant to be portrayed as "This is sort of like Hyrule but definitely isn't." And Lorule was just a straight up parallel universe.

Fair enough, although I assume that since underbarrel grenade launchers haven't totally replaced hand grenades, there are certain scenarios where you'd be better off with hand grenades.

Or maybe it's just a cost thing. I imagine someone with more military knowledge could explain.

I only played through it once, but I tried to get as much as I could out of all of the party. Still ended up being cheap and relying on Mario, Geno, Peach to get me through the end of the game and most of the more difficult fights. It was much harder to fit Mallow in than Bowser though. I think I used him a bit in Nimbus Land because I thought it was fitting, but it was kind of tough justifying a slot for him in the second half of the game.
