Sure the first few shrines are fun, but they start getting real repetitive. The most fun I had was experimenting what you can do with the physics of the game. It became a lot more fun when I used its open world as a sand box for experimentation. Exploring and finding new things was also fairly fun as well. I never completely finished the game, but there's nothing wrong in going back and playing it.
