I've seen a study before testing the old saying that money doesn't buy happiness which found that it sort of is and isn't true. There are unhappy rich people, but most people's level of happiness in life does go up as their income goes up. So it's probably better to say money doesn't guarantee happiness, but it does go a long way toward making you happier.

The research that Ive come across in the past suggested that yes, people with higher levels of income are happier, but only up to a certain threshold and its lower than people expect it to be.

Obviously these figures wont necessarily be correct today, but it as something like once you got over about 70k per year it stopped making any difference to happiness.

This. I don't really have money problems but money is always a problem with inflation so it'd help to have a huge nest egg.

But also if I won a billion dollar Powerball I'd spend most of it on my community to try to help homeless people with transitional housing and services.

Yeah, it wouldnt massively improve my life, but it would massively improve the lives of plenty of others.

Unfortunately, its often used as more of a setting than a genre, which means its basically just fantasy in space.

I legitimately can't get over how monumentally fucking stupid that was. Like you think someone that can't afford property here can just fly to a random country, get a job and documentation and just buy a house?

Thats not what I said at all.

Firstly, the job normally comes before the flight. Secondly, I never said anything about just buying a house. However, the right kind of move could make it a much more realistic prospect.

For one, cost, second who'd allow you to move in?

Do you think Europe nations would welcome you in with open arms? Especially if you're too poor to afford a home in the US?

Do you realize what's happening across the globe at all? Most nations are shutting off most immigration and are being headed by fascists who only want their citizens in their country. So unless a job is paying you to live there, you're not just moving to Italy, France, Spain, UK, Hungary, or Poland.

Theres a lot to unpack there.

Firstly, I never said anything about Europe. But yes, a number of European nations would welcome me with open arms. Is that true for everybody? No, but I never tried to claim it would be.

The idea that you need lots of money to move to another country is just bogus. As with many things, it will help, of course. But I moved to another country not so long ago and that cost me a grand total of sweet fuck all.

Unless a job is paying you to live there? Thats pretty much how all employment works, is it not? Yes, if you want to move to another country, the first step is probably to get a job if youre not super rich, but thats true of any sort of significant move.

Now when are they doing a proper REmake 1? The GameCube remake wasn't on the same level as 2 and 3.

Its much better than both.

They can't, they need a game with Wesker as a primary focus and 1 is the best spot. They can easily do another remake in the style of 2 - 4's remakes. But they only barely put Wesker in the end of 4, and considering his entire presence in 5 is based on the Chris - Wesker relationship, it makes sense to do a game with both Chris and Wesker.

Are you suggesting that 5 isnt a game with both Chris and Wesker?

I disagree, especially now since I've owned my home for the last several years.

I don't want traffic coming in and out of the house at all times of the day or night. So if you're going to be living in my house I don't necessarily need "permission" but the least you could do as a courtesy would be to drop a message or note about it.

You can't just do whatever the hell you want in my house while living rent free - don't care how old you are. Don't like it? Easy solution - get your own place.

That would be exactly what would happen with that shitty attitude.
