The issue with the report and with the majority of shit that gets thrown around is cis doctors and psychologists can only academically grasp trans issues, they want to use systems that are built for and by cis people.

Trans medical care needs to be fronted by trans people who have experience and not just a sterile academic "understanding."

A good example of this is doctors prescribing HRT at levels they would give to say a post-menopausal cis woman instead of much more effective doses.

It's really why if/when I do HRT I will be going DIY with blood tests. Cis medical institutions can't be trusted to get it right when their intentions are good and it is lethal when not.

The fucked up thing is that hormones are still technically being prescribed off label when given as trans care. So you have to find a doctor that knows what they're doing to properly monitor your levels and adjust your dosage accordingly. I got lucky to get a doctor that specializes in trans care, but that's not the reality for most

Honestly not a bad idea at all though to consider DIY, since you'll know how to respond to changes in your body best, and all the information is out there. I have a good doctor and I still consider it from time to time since the longer lasting estradiol esters aren't available in the US

Yeah, a lot of people don't realize that after a sustained period of HRT, the body behaves a lot like a cis woman's (or the case of T, a cis man's). Which itself isn't really saying much, since there's such an insanely broad amount of variations even within a single sex's biology.

But yeah, the terms "biological male and female" aren't really standardized in any way, especially not the way people online tend to use them

Peak MGS when you're actually in missions where the bases are densely populated. OKB Zero, the oil refinery, and the afghan research lab were standouts

The open world and story are both pretty bad though. Remaking mother base in the exact same offshore configuration was dumb imo, and I think it would have been far more interesting conceptually to see Outer Heaven from MG1 be built over the course of the game, and have that be interactive between missions

Having to wait real time for equipment to develop was complete garbage, and was clearly a carry on for the otherwise really fun FOB game mode

Yes, there's an excellent one toward the end of the game, and a few really good ones interspersed through the game. The real issue with TPP was that there's just too much dead space in between the large bases. And the large bases are only truly populated and built for stealth during missions, they're just kind of whatever during the free roam.

Seems pretty mid so far but I'm hoping that changes

I'm about 30 chapters or so into part 3 and I'm finding it to be incredibly lackluster compared to part 2. Doesn't feel like any of the characters have chemistry the way Joseph and Caesar did, and the villain of the week popping up just to show off the new (at the time) concept of stands feels incredibly fucking lame compared to the Pillar Men

Also, none of the art so far seems to go nearly as hard as some of what was shown in part 2. I mean look at this shit
