Eh. It would've been a better set-up with 20+ players. With 15, it just really became hugely swingy. If the mass-claim doesn't happen, or if Lopen dies early enough to be revealed as "Psychic who gets told a random amount of people 0-2 targeted him each night", then Scum rolls over and dies as they literally tried to.

The shop and item mechanic was cool but kind of impotent. More refinement would be necessary to pull that off in a way that really enhances the game.

If that holds, we'll have 127 unique ranked characters over 4 lists. Most TTRPG campaigns struggle to get above 10 characters with significant depth. Add in all the honorable mentions (and lists that would have changed at this point), and we've got maybe the largest cast of intricate and complicated NPC's in any campaign that's ever been. And the number keeps going up!

As much as I am not in a position to blame people for how they lynched according to the mass claim, given I did not experience that myself, I will restate that it is important in the game of mafia to try to find Scum and Town and not depend on roles and set-up meta so much.

I think there's something to be said for Jaime's perspective though. There are similarities between him and Pepper as you've outlined, but as you've said, he's a starry-eyed hopeful young hero. Pepper is perhaps the PC most willing to dip into evil. So when Jaime calls Pepper out, it's highlighting the biggest difference between them, and in some parts, it's chastising Pepper for not being as good as he wants/thinks she can be, and some parts chastising himself for liking her in the first place. Regardless, it's about what one is willing to give up and turn into for the sake of their goals.

Jaime wants to be the best man he can be. Pepper wants to win the war. That helps create a rift for sure.

This show has been jamming so far. Manages to be compelling. Great acting. Characters are all enjoyable for their own reasons. It feels like a pretty cleanly delivered story so far, even with the time jumps. I'm really digging it.

I thought this episode was maybe the best so far? Adar is intriguing. Lil' bit of orc action ain't bad. Elendil is probably my favorite human character. And the end of the episode was pretty cool.

Also, more Elrond and Durin which should be an entire show itself. It's a little jarring how much more enjoyable that thread is than the others.

So far, the show is solid. It's not going to breach my top 5 for the year, doesn't touch GoT, but it's a good watch.

That episode felt like an episode in a on-running series. I feel like the episodes are a little short and could benefit from more time and more side character development, but this felt like it approached that.

Mockingbird is just a fuzzy voice coming through a computer so far. Nobody knows who he is. The earliest running guess on who he was was the Calculator who lost his High Society role. We know it's not Oracle. There are also suggestions it could be Lex Luthor.

And no way! Squeak is super punk and adorable. Saoirse would be a perfectly overwhelmed, incapable, but thematically appropriate surrogate mother! I mean, she was floored with the opportunity to hold Weather Wizard's baby.

She's just a poor girl who always wanted a family but was doomed never to bear children.

So this is fun, but for She-Hulk, the place Donny Blaze worked at was called the "Mystic Castle", which has to be based on the Magic Castle, which is a private club that's magic themed with a bunch of magic shows each night.

I actually got to go there a couple weekends ago when I was visiting my sister on vacation. We also watched She-Hulk the next day.
