Okay, this is definitely the part of the game that made me quit last time. There was just too much CP needed to max my guys out in their crystal grids, and it was overwhelming. I believe I made it to getting Hope's Eidolon, and that's where I stopped. So we'll see how I'm feeling when I get there.

Okay, this right here...this is why I can understand the people that hate this game. The gameplay, linearity aside, is great. The battle system is great and the leveling system is great. Not a HUGE fan of the weapon leveling system, but I can deal with it. The playable characters are all awesome on an individual level, and during the first half of the game where the plot is mostly them running either towards Sanctum or away from Sanctum, and can focus on interaction with one another, they're great. But the overall story, I GET the general theme of freedom versus subservience, but it just doesn't work when you look at everything from the first half of the game (all the flashbacks to the thirteen days) compared to what's going on right now, with the fal'Cie trying to destroy the world because humans are shit.

This level is kinda shit. Like, it's all twisty and turny with a bunch of empty hallways, but there's no treasure chests or reasons to go exploring. This level is worse than the forest, because at least the forest never tricked me into thinking I had a choice to avoid linearity.

Alright, so the previous topic was lost, and all the rules are gone. General information: every generation of Pokemon starts with the first ten in the Pokedex. Five advance. Then a new five face those five, and so on and so forth. This goes until we reach the end of a generation, at which point each round becomes single elimination until we determine a generation winner. At the moment, Jolteon, Feraligatr, Flygon, and Gliscor have won generations and will be involved in the grand finals alongside the winners of Gen V, VI, VII, and the three Pokemon with the longest winning streaks to give us a final ten.

In the event of a tiebreaker, I'll hold a one-off topic to break said tie. Those rounds (same as these poll topics) last 24 hours to determine winners and whatnot. For purposes of this contest, no alts and no rallying.

Also, feel free to discuss opinions and predictions and whatnot.

Though both Scraggy and Sigilyph tried, neither one could manage to dethrone one of a very strong grouping of champions, if I do say so myself.

Ah yes. I remember this scene. I remember thinking it especially fanservicey to have a scene of Vanille awakening from her crystal, completely naked (which reminded me that Serah turned into a very shapely crystal herself.) And I KNOW it's pure fanservice because Dajh turned into a damn ice cube rather than having his child body become the shape of a crystal.

Sazh sleeps in a racing car, as opposed to a big bed with his wife. Also, shit like this interpersonal dynamic is why I love this cast so much. Just the addition of Vanille and Fang as "bad guys" who are hiding their "evil" status (only in Vanille's case though) creates conflict. Lightning has issues with Snow as Serah's fiance. Hope has issues with Snow because Snow got his mom killed. Lightning and Snow both have reason to hate Fang because she got Serah turned into a l'Cie. Sazh has similar reasons to hate Vanille. Vanille and Fang have their "we're the only Pulse people around" connection. There are just so many relationships going on (a benefit of having a small playable cast) and they all feel so fascinating.
