I find Mcdoubles are the perfect amount for small hamburgers and have everything I want on them..... scratch that, not enough mustard, but since I always eat at home that's usually never a problem.

On our way to Marseilles we stopped at a small village nestled in the french countryside. The sun had just begun to set and we thought we could find a small inn to settle for the night. The atmosphere was very different than Paris. The village was only illuminated by the stars overhead. No street lights to mask the darkness, or cars to interrupt the quiet of pure nature that the countryside had to offer.

As we walked within the walls of the commune we noticed a small sign hanging from a door a couple buildings up from us. Upon closer inspection the sign was worn, but still legible "Auberge". Knocking at the door I had noticed that the clasp on her necklace had started to become undone. It fell from around her neck onto the cobblestone pavement below. I bent down and grabbed it, only to see that the ruby that was at its base was scratched. "Well if that isn't the...." as I was about to finish my sentence the door creaked open. A large man opened the door and said "puis-je vous aider". I looked at him and said "Anglais?". He had a disgusted look on his face.

"What do you want?" he replied. I said that we were passing through on our way to Marseilles, and were wondering if there were any rooms for rent.

Spitting on the ground he said "I don't like foreigners." and he started to head through the door once again. He motioned for us to follow and followed his statement with "but in today's society you can't be picky on who you serve." My wife asked him how much it would cost for a night. 300 euros. "that's a bit steep" I replied. "If you were french I would offer you a discount. But your not. 300 euros, that's as low as I'm willing to go."

"Can we have a moment?" I asked. "Go ahead, take all the time you need, its not like I don't have things to do right now." After discussing it with my wife we agreed that 300 euros for a night with such a view would be worth it. "ok, 300 euros. I pulled out a 500 euro note. "do you have change for a 5?", "No change". He grabbed the money out of my hand and handed me a key with a small tag that said 5 on it. "Room 5, up the stairs, last door on the left". He then proceeded to head behind the counter and put the money in a small drawer.

Heading up the stairs I noticed that stairs creaked with every climb. The inn was older than it seemed. We arrived at our room and opened the door. It was a small room, no bathroom but big enough to hold a twin size bed and a small desk just under the window overlooking the lush french forest.

"Do you think the car will be ok where we parked it?" my wife asked. "Honey, its the french country, its not like we are in the streets of New York. Leaving it where we did should be fine. Right now.... we should get some sleep so we can get up early tomorrow to meet Marco in Marseilles.

"I guess your right. Can you help me with my dress? the zipper seems to be stuck". "What would you do without me, ha ha". A couple minutes later we were lying in bed, gazing up at the stars through the large window of the inns room.

"Sweet Dreams" both of us said at the same time. We kissed and turned off the lamp.

Tomorrow is another day.

yeah, I guess it was. I did buy 3 tickets for a chase the ace drawing for tonight, which I never do. Local church needed money to rebuild their stairs. They only needed 3 grand but after the ace didn't go they had to keep it going. 10 months later and that drawing went up to 2.5 million dollars with consolation prizes going for 300 grand.

Pretty much the entire town was pissed that it hadn't gone yet so they forced them into drawing the remaining numbers tonight.

I'll just have to make my money the hard way. Which is something I had planned on doing from the beginning.

I'm on the waiting list to do business in college, so I will get out of it after I open my own business.

If you're waiting on the lottery to help you out in life, you've got a very rude awakening coming sometime down the road.

again.... why anyone is taking it like this I have no idea. I pointed out something a bit funny to me, and now people are jumping down my throat like I said something wrong.

As for myself, I don't expect the lottery to jump out and help me. I don't buy tickets. Hell I buy scratch tickets just for the fun of scratching them off. I'd rather work hard and reap the rewards than be given something.

so basically I want to practice storytelling and one of the methods I learned was to take words, or objects that have nothing to do with one another and write a short story merging them together.

So I ask of CE to give me a couple words, preferably nothing dirty as I'd like to keep this as close to pg 13 as possible, so I can try and turn them into a paragraph or two.

I would also prefer to keep it limited to objects if possible.

Can't guarantee it will be good, but I would at least like to stimulate my brain a little bit and give it a shot.

Now, that being said, you can throw Oracle of Seasons in around Majoras Mask, along with Links Awakening.

Exactly. Many options is good!

no, it really isn't. Someone like myself gets lost in the shuffle. I could go out on a date with a woman and we both have a really great time, but if she is out there mingling with several other guys, my chance of seeing her again goes down to nearly zero.

Not to mention that from a female point of view(one of my friends), they get bombarded with messages to the point where they can get over a hundred messages in an hour, whereas a male, might get 1 a day or week, or month. I remember hanging out with her and every couple minutes her phone would go off with a message to her. It was ridiculous. It puts pressure on guys like me to be someone that we aren't by nature.

So no, more options in a buffet is good, more options in dating is bad.

Why do you think that? There's always something you can do about it if there's something you don't like about yourself weighing down your confidence

There are a million reasons why. And no, please get it out of your head that there has to be something for everyone. With over 7 billion people on this planet, there are bound to be at least a handful who can't help themselves for any given situation. Love / relationships are no exception.

No! I'm never gonna believe that!

if Plenty of Fish has taught me anything, its that women....and men have too many options when it comes to dating. They can pick and choose who they want to date due to the vast quantity of people out there looking to mingle.

Its affected both online and offline dating.

I told her from the start that until my work circumstances change: No Kids.

She then sent me a lengthy message on pof about how much of a loser I am and how I will never be happy.

I can understand Connor losing after round 7 and above, but they were pretty much on even playing field. Mayweather gets way too high of points prior to this, even though he acted like a chicken the previous rounds. Turning, bending down, pretty much the first few rounds he was trying to provoke McGregor into disqualifying himself, only to find out that he wasn't going to go out that way, hence why he stepped up his game in round 7.

In all honesty, Mayweather should have lost the match 6-7 rounds in. Not because McGregor was outboxing him, but because he kept turning his back to McGregor trying to force him to get disqualified.

I don't watch much boxing but the guy turned his back at least 3 times a round.

I would like to see a rematch if Floyd would ever want one. Maybe 2 years from now when McGregor gets a chance to work on his long term conditioning.

Another little thing that bugs me is when someone doesn't take their cart or basket back to the porch for others to use, or follow my instructions to put their hand basket at the front of the cash instead, just laying it wherever thinking that is where it goes.

They are already heading back through the front exit, why not put their carts back where it belongs if they aren't going to put it in the cart corral? Also leaving carts wherever, and I mean WHEREVER. On the lawn, in the middle of the parking lot where it can hit other cars, or jamming it in a cart corral when there is no space, instead of taking it back into the store. We can't be out there 24/7 grabbing carts, we have other duties to do to.....

To go along with that, if you've worked in a supermarket as a cashier, and they drag their cart in front of your cash, unload their stuff and leave the cart in front of your cash so no one can put their stuff on the conveyor belt, its so frustrating.
