keep in mind, being a cop here now means being under the microscope. A lot of cities are having a problem with filling open positions.

So you can either

1) have inadequate officers
2) have no officers if you increase barriers to entry

While there's a sizable "defund the police" movement, I personally am a fan of having police. A semblance of law and order is better in my opinion than anarchy.

Anyway, yeah this was a Dakero/LovingPacifist copypasta. This was the only one from before 2017 I'd saved in a PM. All his stories from after are nowhere near as good. It's a shame the ones from the lurker site (2012-2015) are just gone now. From what I recall they're better than the ones on his blogspot which was only 2009 and before.

The amount of people who can't tell obvious satire on here is interesting though.

Some of you remember my previous topic about this girl's BF mouthing off to me on the phone. Basically, I have been sweet talking her while he is at the gym and I was ready to invite her over to "watch a movie" with me when he answered the phone. We exchanged some words, I told him that I was going to fuck his girl, and I challenged him to a battle of honor at a local park nearby.

I told him to show up at 8:00, so that we didn't run into a crowd of people. This park is usually dead, there aren't any actual play areas for kids, just a basketball court and some callisthenic workout racks. I told him to meet me in the shady area by the pullup bars. The thing is, he didn't know what I looked like, and I knew what he looked like because I had seen pics of him from my friend's phone before.

Anyways, I told him to meet me at 8:00PM, but I decided to show up 40 minutes early to scout the place out. Since I told him where to meet me, I knew where he'd be approaching from. So, I dressed in all black, tied a t-shirt around my head, and climbed into a tree near the meeting place and waited for him. Like I anticipated, he showed up at 8:00 on the dot, and was pacing around looking for me.

He was really heated, shadow boxing a bunch, throwing his fists around, talking shit at the air, and he was walking around a lot. I think he wanted me to see how hyped up he was while I was approaching to sort of scare me. Well, that was a big fucking mistake, because the dude wound up pacing just underneath the tree I was hiding in, and I dropped on top of him and tackled him to the ground. Dude never saw it coming. So, I drop onto him, he crumples, and before he can get up, I kick the dude as hard as I could in the ribs. He let out a really loud "OOOMFFFFF", but he was getting up to his feet again real fast. I was glad I didn't pick a fair fight with this guy, because even with the sucker punch he was still in the game!

So, since he was getting up to his feet, I basically sized up how fast he was getting up, took two steps back, and then laid a really sloppy haymaker as hard as I could into his jaw. Knocked him to the ground AGAIN. At that point, I told him that he goes down faster than his GF. Dude got pissed, because now he knew for sure that he was dealing with the guy on the phone. So he bull charges me and knocks me off my feet. He was faster than I expected and he took me off guard. He pulled my ninja mask off my face, and started punching me. Just laying into me, punching me over and over again, even busted my nose open and I was bleeding all over the place. I started calling mercy, telling him I was sorry and he hesitated, so I threw a handful of sand in his eyes and then rolled him over. Got on top of him and started giving him the same medicine he was giving me, left and rights right into his face, broke his nose open and then I grabbed him by both ears and headbutted him straight in the face.

I got up, and he was down, so I kicked him a few times, and he wasn't getting up. Then, I spat on him, and took my phone out and took a picture of him.

I told him it was a good fight, but he got his ass kicked just like I said he would. I told him that this doesn't settle ANYTHING, and that I'm still going to be talking to his girl. He told me that if I don't back off from her, he's going to find where I live and shoot my place up, so I kicked him as hard as I could in the jaw and knocked the dude clean unconscious.

I got home, and I don't look too bad. Outside of the bloody nose, I look way better than he did when I left him. His GF is probably going to dump him for being a hotheaded low life that starts fights with her friends.

Basically, I have been spitting game with some chick at the local library I use for Wi-Fi who has a live-in boyfriend. It is a hard thing to do, because you have to get inside their head, undermine him constantly, basically subtley paint him out as the bad guy without coming off as some friend shoulder to cry on. It usually takes month, but I've managed to pull it off before. It took me 2 months to get her phone number, and lately I have been chatting up with her while he is at the gym. She doesn't know that I'm seducing her, but she gives all the signs that she's receptive of it.

I called her at my regular time last night around 9:00 PM. Phone rang longer than usual, and someone picks up, tells me to f*** off, and hangs up.

I am pretty pissed because I was not expecting that, it was a male's voice and he sounded pissed, so I called back.

This time he answers, super aggressive "HELLO?!". I can hear my friend crying in the background, saying "Baby, please, calm down!" all this other stuff. I say "Put Bridget on the phone." and he tells me that he is her bf. The exchange follows.

Me: So you're the chump Bridget tells me about.

Dude on the phone: What the f*** you doing calling my girl in the middle of the night?

Me: I wanted a piece of that ass, I was going to tell her to drive it down her and park it over my couch.

Boyfriend: f*** you, you little f***!!!! Stay the f*** away from MY woman, she belongs to ME!!!

Me: If you were a real man, she wouldn't be looking to get it from anyone else. The next time you're at the gym, the next time to leave for a sandwich, she's going to let me know, and then I'm going to give her what she needs.

I am sick of being the mental boyfriend while my gf spends more time with her physical bf.

So basically, we met two years ago and she was my first hug, hand hold, kiss, etc. I bought her tons of gifts to lead up to telling her I loved her, and then I told her I loved her after a month and wanted to try having sex. She told me she ruined too many relationships because having sex with someone takes away from the mental aspect of the relationship. She wanted me to stay a pure virgin and love her as much as I always did.

This made perfect sense, and I agreed with her. Soon she said she wanted to have sex, but not with me for the reasons she stated before. She then said she had a friend she had sex with the night before because she had a strong urge to, and she would be having sex with him on a regular basis but would not love him like she loves me. This made me feel really good inside. She could even have sex with someone else and still love me! I was her "mental boyfriend" and he would be her "physical boyfriend".

For our anniversary we were going to book a trip to the Florida Keys as a romantic getaway. She told me we didn't need to do something like that, but she would love to have a sexual getaway with the other guy. She convinced me to pay for it, and I mutually agreed since I understand she needs to have sex and I can't provide her.

Now for our second anniversary I sent her and the guy to Cancun for another trip, even though I was kind of hoping to go to Disney World with her for a fun time. It is getting kind of frustrating she won't go on a trip with me and then him later.

What should I do?

I get he's the alpha, but it's kind of annoying how he treats me like I'm a kid when I'm 32 and he's 35.

Whenever he's not with my wife in their room, he'll come up to me and say things like "How's it going, little man?" or if I show him something (like a game or movie or whatever), he'll over exaggerate and say "Wow! That is so cool, dude!". Or if I tell him a story, I'll get a response like "Whoa! That's crazy, buddy!" (Even when the story wasn't that crazy to begin with). Then when he goes out somewhere with my wife he'll say "We'll be back in a bit, champ!".

He acts more like a dad than a friend. Not that I want to really be friends with the guy to begin with, but I just find it kind of annoying even though he's nice most of time. Just kinda seems fake though, you know?

Right now he's living with us since his wife kicked him out, so I'm forced to interact with him more. Our room ended up becoming his and my wife's room ever since he moved in (I didn't get much of a say). My wife and I barely ever get alone time now, so maybe that's also making me more annoyed by his antics. I don't know, but wish he'd stop treating me like a kid.

Anyone else deal with something like this?

"Unfortunate" doesn't begin to describe this site, moderations rewards blind luck and nothing else, I am beyond convinced at this point. After getting completely tooled by scheduling with the mods changing times on me last minute and refusing to provide confirmation prior to the day of the dispute, losing this way somehow felt even worse than I had thought possible. My preparation was superior, my dispute was superior, and I lost, so I don't see a reason to continue engaging in an activity where what is within my control is overwhelmingly outweighed by what is not. I am done with this websight, and you won't get a fond farewell. This community is infected to its roots with a degenerative disease that grows stronger over time but stops short of killing its host. Topics used to have a competitive spirit at their heart, this has been transplanted and replaced with an artificial organ that feeds on vitriol and mockery from insecure little boys that heckle by the sidelines and tear each other to shreds over scraps of attention. The environment we fostered has trapped us all like this in a vicious cycle, and escaping it requires acceptance of the harshest reality we all scramble to explain away, that none of the countless straining efforts we put ourselves through here will ever amount to one single shining glimmer of significance. I would make this the end, but Invincible is still ongoing, and I would never leave so many great friends out to dry, so I'll suffer through a few more topics for them. Its easy to be cynical about the situation, but theyre still young and its not too late for them to readjust. Us Millenials are in a similar situation, but at least we had a way better economy and outlook on life growing up.
