Wow. I literally just remembered this ranking from weeks ago and wanted to check it out... 23 minutes after my nom was posted.

Only other comment I was going to make was about One Winged Angel... as that's one of my favorite music pieces in general so I'd rank it higher, but Toxic Love might be fair depending on what comes next.

Tough but fair. tbh, when they brought on that Egyptian guy (Bassam Yousef?) and introduced him as the Egyptian Jon Stewart, I was skeptical as hell.... but the dude 100% won me over by the end. Then another episode they bring in Trevor Noah who, in his single appearance before giving him the show, didn't get me to laugh once and whose humor felt forced (and his stand-up that I've watched sucked, but supposedly Jon Stewart's stand-up is lousy as well). Instead of going with Bassam or one of the correspondents (apparently they offered it to Jessica Williams and her only?), they gave it to some no-talent hack with zero charisma.

I really think he's gotten worse over the years. I watched it for a few minutes for the first time in years and I couldn't take it for long. I don't take issue with his personality or his approach to issues... he's just not funny.

just saying, this was an early sneak peak. And back then, they didnt even have the VHS at home yet so not even could grasp the entire lore yet (which Im guessing is why people kept going back to see them in theaters). A lot of Darth Vader was still shrouded in mystery.

when James Earl Jones first read the script, at the I am your father scene, he thought Vader was lying, as if he was just saying anything to bring Luke to the dark side. And I wouldnt be surprised if a lot of people thought this because the ending was so mysteriously foggy

I rarely go to packed theaters anyway. Have a max of 10-15 people and space groups out well enough (like well over 10 feet) and you might not even need masks while sitting.
