well, you couldn't be in a better location for landscape / nature photography if you're willing to travel out of seattle some. seems like there's a lot of great wilderness areas around with olympic national forest & all the national forests to the east.

if you want to practice around seattle try to stay safe and be street smart i guess. if you're from seattle you probably know where it would be a bad idea to pull out an expensive camera while alone already though.

His vehicle is like a needle in a haystack. White fords are extremely common, as are fusions in general, and I doubt he's still driving with the same plates (might have just stolen some or something to replace the temp tags because they're super noticeable). Actually I'd be surprised if he is still driving the same car to be honest.

It was difficult navigating twitter's search trying to actually avoid the video. I don't know if they cracked down on it though. Still haven't, and won't watch it.

As for how the news treated this case initially, that's a conversation that will probably need to be had. The way the news treated it from the get-go probably harmed the likelihood of someone identifying the man at some point given the lack of mug shot. It's a problem that should be addressed, honestly.

That doesn't mean to detract from Mr. Godwin's death and the heinous nature of the crime.

At this point I can't even tell which instagram account is real. There's like multiples being Tweeted out with random threats written on IG accounts (some verified). At this point disinformation seems rampant. I wouldn't trust anything off the bat.

Like, I'm not sure if they didn't see the MSNBC top story being THIS (and I'm almost sure ABC and other nightly news broadcast probably did the same thing) or they're saying all news channels should be "Crazy Bald Fuck Watch" right now.

Yeah I imagine that would just induce stupidity and rumors which is the major failing of social media in providing news. Maybe they're faster, but people just jump the gun and act like everything is a threat or flat out try to get lies trending. I can't even count how many ford fusions were pulled over via Cleveland's police channel, do people really expect the news to cover each one?

Within the video he blamed it on some girl, it was "because of her", making him say her name (I did not watch the video just reposting what other people have described). I did see a Facebook post (screencapped on Twitter) that was circulating by him promising to kill more until his mom called him, but I doubt the authenticity of anything I see floating around on Twitter especially early on.

Cleveland Police Dispatch - 3rd District covers the university but I'm not listening ATM. Police department is briefing on CNN. Also I'm not sure if police with the university are their own department, sometimes they are.
