For work I teach and am around people CONSTANTLY. Having to talk and interact with students and coworkers all day makes me socially exhausted, so when Im not working...I love to be alone honestly. Yet, doing things solo still seems to be stigmatized. Seeing a movie alone? Weirdo. Taking a solo vacation once or twice a year? Strange. I hate the idea that society seems to think life is always enjoyed better with others. I dont think thats true. And if you want the rawest peak into how people really feel without the depressing vibe of it all, it's perfect. They say some dark as shit stuff but in a way that encourages you to laugh at it. It's the best way I can find to deal with my own pain as well. Being able to get stuff off your chest and get a laugh is a 2fer for me. However, I realize and understand trivializing pain isn't for everyone. Im not just out here laughing at peoples real pain >_>. Oh yeah, I follow a lot of stand up comedy.
