Well I beat the other final boss on the path going up. I noticed there are two of them in that stage but I never saw the first one again. It also felt much harder than the default path going down. Not sure if the alternate path will have only just one extra stage once it's added or two so that both ways through the game have four. It's really nice that it's in the game at all. This doesn't just feel like Hades II but Hades 2.5. Also did one Chaos Trial but haven't bothered with the difficulty modifiers yet. I'm probably gonna stop playing soon to wait for the next update to the Early Access.

It came with my SeX so I have it too. The constant nerfs since the beta kinda killed my interest in it, but I might play the upcoming season if the Xbox guy I play with wants to. Edit: Oh and to answer the topic I guess I'm a fan of it. I've still got D2R installed on my PC.

Made it to what I'm pretty sure is the last boss and died(thanks to Eris' curse screwing me over :/). It was my second run with the daggers but I'm not sure I immediately want to try with that again. It was pretty cool that *Spoilers regarding the final boss* Chronos stops you from pausing the game by taking you out of the menu.

It's hard to say so far because I've only made it to the boss of the third area but I don't think you'll be too lost by starting with II, but imo you should play Hades anyway. It's a great game and you'd have plenty of time to beat it and see the epilogue while the Hades II EA is still going.

It's hilarious that attacking Chronos starts a fight. I wasn't expecting that, and I guess I missed on whatever dialogue was supposed to pop up until next time they meet.

Man I WISH other cream sodas were like Big Red because then I'd have options. Red Flash was probably the closest one but it didn't quite hit me the same.

Damn you had better luck than me with those consoles. I had just as many PS2's fail on me as I did the RROD on 360s. I sold my 4th 360 to buy my 5th though so I don't know how long that 4th one would've lasted.

Honestly I think JPRPGs would be better off without battle music for regular enemy encounters. Just let the music for the area play uninterrupted. Then use battle music for enemies that are mini boss level or above.

This would be fine depending on the game and its soundtrack. I actually hated this shit in FFXII, but near the end of FFX it's great.

Elden Ring had a decent enough sale(on Steam anyway) recently, but I kinda doubt Fromsoft would allow that again so close to the DLC release. You do save $20 if you get that Shadow of the Erdtree edition on Steam, but I don't know if you'd even want the DLC.

Doom Eternal before casuals ruined the DLC. The Ancient Gods Part 1 pre-DLC was peak Doom.

I wanna take the fanmade/homebrew DnD setting roulette, but otoh Roshar might be okay to live in for a while after Wind and Truth. No way in shit I can bond a spren, but seeing spren around in general might be neat. Highstorms would probably initially scare the shit out of me and the whole alien-like planet would be odd unless I live around Shinovar specifically. Many Cosmere planets would suck to live in actually, and at least one wouldn't be inhabitable at all to us since they had genetically altered humans to survive in that one.

Wolverine and the X-men was one of the nicer one's around that time. Like if it had more seasons it probably would've been one of my favorite animated Marvel shows, but it ended too soon much like Green Lantern TAS(at least this one threw me a bone in Young Justice S4).

Reading through the Stormlight Archive series again by Brandon Sanderson, ahead of the fifth book later this year.

I just caught up with that this year when I finished Rhythm of War. I also finished Edgedancer and Dawnshard earlier this year as well. Have you read The Sunlit Man?

Oh damn I didn't know they were removed. I still have 2012 on Steam and 2013 on one of the consoles I think.

MTGO and Arena have been going on for a bit. Plus there were the less popular one's like the few Duels of the Planeswalker games and the one that Arena killed.
