I moved around a lot as a kid too (and as an adult too I suppose, but the distances between each move have been much shorter) I think it can be difficult to allow yourself to get attached to a place or the people there when you've grown so accustomed with moving, but you shouldn't let it dictate your life, and deprive yourself of some fulfilling relationships.

Yeah I didn't realize that was my underlying problem until just under a year ago. I finally lost all excuses I had after buying a home in Maryland since I converted from a contractor to a full time employee after 3 years and knew I would be in the area for years to come, and shortly after that I went on a date with a really nice girl and I thought we clicked really well. Until she said that she didn't expect to be in the area for more than 2 years as a Navy medic with rotations and that was the killer. But just as I was ready to put myself out there, the pandemic starts lol. So I guess I'll just see what happens in 2021

I can swim. If I didn't learn how to swim while in college with 3 Olympic sized pools being available around the clock, I probably wouldn't know how to swim now because I'm not gonna hop in a river, lake, or ocean.

My old apartment building had a pool but you could also stand up anywhere in it so that doesn't really count, and not counting that I haven't gone swimming in 5 years now. So yeah, access is a huge problem.

I don't play competitively but yeah I agree with that it's a whole lot easier to breed your ideal Pokemon now. That's all I've been doing for the last 200 hours of playtime other than event raids

I already have an apriball team with hidden abilities, the ideal natures, and ideal IV/EV spread ready for the next DLC, and I'm using the team I bred for the first DLC to blow through raids and the Pokemon league when I'm bored. An EV/IV trained Jolly HA Cinderace is op as hell for pve

It's definitely a halfassed game but I was willing to ignore it since it was my first Pokemon game since B/W, so I went all out with it. Preordered it, bought the collector's edition guide book, and preordered the DLC. I knew it was halfassed when I went to pick it up from Gamestop on release and had a convo with a worker there about giving them a pass this time

If they pull this shit with a sequel on the Switch I'm not buying it though

I'm only concerned for my parents because they are in their 50s, live in Georgia, and have to deal with that fucking moronic piece of shit Brian Kemp

Fortunately they've always been in good health and they are well off so if one or both got sick I think they would get through it with few problems. My sister has had a few health scares over the years but she should be fine too since she's younger than me and her problems weren't respiratory

I think you would only need a molex cable if you have a lot of fans or hard drives. Plugging your fans directly into the fan headers is all you need for now.

But this again is coming from someone who doesn't have RGB lighting

Also make sure you don't suffocate your PSU where you have the PSU fan facing some interior case wall

Well as a kid I always had dreams about wearing a lab coat and doing some random ass research (since little kids don't know shit) that requires a lab coat. Ignoring the brief period in high school where I thought I was gonna be an architect, that part kinda came true since I have a doctorate and I'm a robotics researcher but unfortunately no lab coats are involved. At least not until I help create EVAs

I also thought I would be married by now by copying my parents who grew up together and had me at 24, since I also had that kind of relationship with a girl in my neighborhood for 6 years. Right before middle school started we finally cut the kiddie crap and admitted we liked each other and started dating. Then my family moved at the end of my first semester of 6th grade and that relationship died, and I have yet to have another relationship that rivals what I had back when I was scamming other dumb kids for their Pokemon cards during class breaks. I've dated plenty since then, but I didn't put myself entirely out there during those times because it was always a lingering thought of "what happens when I graduate from high school/college/grad school and move" which is kind of true since for each of those milestones, I've hopped to different states.

So I'm like 1/2 for vague dreams from childhood

You can definitely use them, you probably just won't be able to control the RGB without that hub just guessing

You can definitely control fan speed through the bios and also with some manufacturer software.

Edit: Actually, after looking at that hub there's really nothing special about it. I thought it included a remote. All it does is allow you to plug up to 6 fans into one fan header, so if you could control RGB through that, you should be able to control RGB after installing Corsair software without needing the hub

Last edit: Disregard the above lol. According to Amazon answers, RGB control won't work without it

Check the seller reviews. I bought a Windows 7 Pro key in 2012 for dirt cheap and had no problems except when trying to upgrade to Windows 10 around 2018, and I've been using a Windows 10 Pro and a Office 2019 key for over a month and it's been fine as well.

Worst case scenario is that the key you get has already been used and you're out $8 until you let the seller know

I also didn't know that emulators don't need a beefed up CPU nowadays after experiencing stutter city with Dolphin way back on an overclocked i5-2500k, but other than that I use my computer for a lot more than gaming. I set up the Ubuntu partition to use for work and programming which does involve some machine learning even though that's mostly GPU dependent. On Windows I have used Blender and Maya in the past, and I have recently downloaded other programs like Clip Studio Pro since I'm trying to get back into making art.

Those programs may not be CPU killers, but I didn't want to worry about a CPU being a bottleneck and I wanted the build in general to be relatively future proof like my 2012 one. But in your case, since you're getting a 2080 which second best gaming card someone could buy right now, I figure why not make the rest of your components like RAM and CPU match the tier

Only three that I was aware of, and all three happened at the worst time in my last year college. First confessed while drunk at a frat party while I was a few months from graduating and leaving the state for good, second told me shortly after that after I had already moved 600 miles away to get ready for grad school and kinda freaked me out because I barely hung out with her and she sent me messages about willing to do whatever to make a long distance relationship work for now.

Third one happened in my last year of grad school and I would have been totally down for it except at that time I was pretty much a borderline alcoholic totally burnt out and the only thing I was interested in was drinking or staring at a wall in between pooping out a dissertation. I cannot emphasize how much I would have been all over that third one if it didn't happen at a lowpoint in my life, she was both super smart and had a ridiculously fit body. Now we live on opposite sides of the country.

Oh yeah a couple of my sister's friends obviously had a crush but that was definitely not gonna happen. Just felt too weird.
