They shouldnt have to see posts that they have decided they dont want to see. The alternative is that a lot will just not post here at all. There are more alternatives than ever.

Even most people that say they dont like social media are active on YouTube or Reddit or whatever else. The boards are one of the few things actually tying a userbase to this site and being obstinate and trying to stay more like 4chan is just gonna ensure its quick demise.

I feel like a couple years ago there were a lot of people saying even intermittent fasting would permanently change how your metabolism works in a negative way, but in all my searching Ive never been able to find much more than hearsay to back up that claim.

Another thing I want to mention regarding a user that is upset about being blocked is that maybe they should pay attention and know that when some users say Anyone that decides to be transphobic in this topic even as a joke is just gonna be blocked by me that maybe they mean what they said.

There are multiple users who Ive blocked but then given another shot after some time goes by, but the reaction in this case really affirms to me that I made the right call with that one.

especially if most users were using the block feature or there was feedback that many users would prefer that setting

because if a user blocks someone then they obviously dont want to see a users post under any circumstances. The curiosity of another user over what someone posted doesnt supersede that function and it never should.

every type of social media has features to try to block abuse, and this is the way it needs to work for gamefaqs otherwise the site is just gonna go away and very quickly I would bet. Even as things stand now none of us really know how much longer this site really has going for it. It could struggle along for decades but becoming more of cesspool isnt going to help it one bit.

Just you watch. Politicians are waking up to the fact that the public overwhelmingly supports mandates for the damn vaccine which little old people are getting by the millions without ill effects.

So a ton of people need to just pull their fucking pants up and act like grown ups for five minutes and if they cant do it they need to be compelled to or they should just fucking leave.

As far as Im concerned if youre a healthy adult and you are still refusing the vaccine at the end of the year then you should have your citizenship revoked and be tossed out of the country or imprisoned because youve decided to be traitors to our country and the entire human race. Fuck you.

Ive been using the block feature since they implemented it and it has always worked this way for me. There is no reason people should be seeing posts of people they have blocked

If someone is quoting multiple users then they should keep the block feature in mind, cause this is just how it needs to be since there are so many people on the website that cant behave themselves in a civil manner

not even lying if they got rid of the block feature I probably just would actually stop posting here

Part of it is probably that so many precious metals and gemstones look very visually unique compared to other things in the world. They are attention grabbers just on their objective appearance and few things glimmer quite the way that gold does.

I think they do the stealing mechanic to keep players from buying certain item combos together to break the game or to just add extra challenge to obtaining the item

Like many other roguelites though the game is about as exploitable as it is difficult. I remember I had a few runs where I got that popcorn power up along with the one that makes gold explode when it hits the ground, which is just one of many really wild combos that can really bust the game open

Everyone Ive ever known who has claimed to have tried crack at some point claims the same thing: That the exact moment you try it, you are hopelessly addicted to it. The effect is that profound on human biology. And I dont think many people make it back from that.

One moment it is just curiosity and a mistake in judgement. Maybe they are being abused. Maybe theyve been carrying the world on their shoulders and it caused them to snap and disassociate with reality. But then they are hooked and they are lost in a maelstrom that they might never get out of

And as much as nobody likes to talk about this part because it obviously isnt worth throwing your life over for, but those few minutes are probably incredible and likely rival most positive human experiences in life. The trouble is that it is fleeting and then youre just left with the desperation for more.

If you're openly admitting to a flagrant sampling bias, trying to claim you haven't seen many examples of something your sampling actively selects against isn't particularly meaningful. That's roughly akin to saying "I'm only looking in the trees, but I haven't seen very many fish."
