i enjoyed the suicide squad when i saw it in theaters but i guess it's a "turn your brain off" movie, because the more i thought about it afterwards, the less i liked it.

I dont see the issue here. It makes sense for people who dont like child murder to be ok sending a child murderer on a suicide mission.

I have no idea where theyre going with Hulk and Skaar. Everything about the Hulks situation and the circumstances of him going to space is so drastically different from the comics.

all I can guess is somehow in Captain America 4 or something the integrated personality will break and a more pure Hulk will emerge again, and that personality will be mad about being basically locked away from years?

Im going to retract my earlier theorizing about a post-credits Wario scene.

My new theory is the inevitable sequel will be a loose Super Mario World adaptation (takes place mostly in Dinosaur Land, Mario meets Yoshi, maybe the Koopalings are introduced too).

wario could be a third movie maybe, but I think Yoshi > Wario in the hierarchy, so thats who you would tease next.

Its pretty wild how much Keegan doesnt sound like himself. Thats a really good Toad voice. Jack Black seems to be nailing it too.

and visually it looks pretty amazing, even if something about Marios face seems a little off

farigiraf is pretty great. I love that its actually a giraffe shape now, but incorporated both heads well.

Also the poster image looks like Toad introducing Mario to that place, so I have a feeling it will be a Mario is from not the Mushroom Kingdom scenario

I feel like almost all of them do? I think all the platformers other than SMB2 have him, including the NSMB games, and most of the spinoffs too (Kart/Party/Sports/etc.). I don't think all the RPGs do though? Like, he's not in all of the Mario & Luigi games, right? Curious which ones he's missing from.

Im fairly confident hes in all of the RPGs

two concerns with this:

1. Fandom wikis are basically unusable websites without an adblocker on mobile. theyre just absolutely awful with the most intrusive auto playing videos and stuff that takes up huge chunks of the screen. makes me worried that theyll fuck up these sites too
2. these sites just got sold what like... a year and a half ago or something? and now they have to adjust to another new corporation? Giantbomb just got started on their new Dan-led era, I hope this doesnt complicate things for them too much
