also it may not be about design vs development at all, but about the general principle that repeatable sacrifice outlets should work with tokens. It's the most likely change because a card like that not working with tokens would be a bummer.

I dont know what the actual answer to the question, but like I said, that option is a change design would make, the others are ones development would probably make.

"change the number of cards revealed to a fixed number" seems to be the answer.
I think that makes sense as a design decision because it makes the difference between synergizing with stuff like treasure tokens and Fabricate or... not synergizing with them.

if i earn 0.01 from my job and my parents give me 499.99, that doesn't mean "my job provides me enough money for a new PC." it just means my parents gave me enough money to buy a new PC.

My point is "how much you need to not starve to death" is a ridiculously low bar for the definition of living wage. That's such a small amount of money that people whose only income is begging manage to get it.

Any full time job in the United States is paying way more than enough to buy a single person enough food to not die. The minimum wage could be $1 per hour and it would still be enough, but it's like seven times that.

I think when other people talk about a living wage they generally are including having a place to sleep inside as part of the criteria.

I looked at the GDS 2 test last night and I think it's still pretty current. It references Intimidate and Shroud as evergreen keywords, but the actual answers to the questions still make sense.

Also it might give you an idea of the type of questions to prepare for. Some of them are kind of tricky, you really have to pay attention to the precise wording.

I ruled out all the mechanics that use +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters immediately because they're not allowed to coexist in a set, so something like Renown couldn't be used in New Phyrexia or whatever

they barely use -1/-1s, so maybe it's not a big deal, but I wanted to play it safe

I had a hard time justifying a removed evergreen keyword. I actually think hexproof is fine as is and would be opposed to removing it. Defender is the easiest to justify, but I'm personally fond of it. Prowess fits a useful niche but I agree you could probably remove that too.

The thing that sold me on dropping Prowess is how rarely it's used. It totally missed Ixalan block and only a appears on a few cards in the sets that do include it.
Aside from Defender its by far the least present keyword in standard currently, but I justified keeping Defender because it's so intuitive that it barely even needs to be learned. "That thing has Defender, so it just defends" is one of the easiest keywords to understand.

I wanted to make a reworked bushido evergreen because it's a flexible mechanic that works on offense and defense. By reworked I meant using a new name, and I also thought it would work better as a static ability.

I chose to demote Prowess though, which is a little awkward because part of my argument against Prowess (it's a triggered ability) also applied to Bushido

I had a similar issue with AOL, except I knew my password and I only got locked out because they decided my log-in attempt was "suspicious", presumably because someone logging into an AOL account in 2015 is inherently suspicious.

problem was that dumbass 12 year-old me didn't enter his real birthday when he made the account, so I couldn't get it unlocked.

luckily I was able to find some way to change the email associated with my iTunes account without actually accessing the AOL email, which seems like a real security flaw
