Someone after me has nominated Penance as well so I'll change my Penance nomination to Jak (Jak and Daxter).

Jak wasn't edgy at all in the first game, but come the sequel he hit puberty, and started growing an obnoxious goatee, swearing like a sailor, copying Grand Theft Auto and generally being a bit of a tool. I considered nominating the Prince of Persia at first, but I changed my mind because when he became an edgelord, he was just going through a phase and went back to normal after one game, whereas the new edgy Jak stuck, albeit toned down slightly after Jak 2 went overboard.

Just so you know, the difficulty curve on this is completely fucked. I converted a list that I'd already made which stole a bunch of songs from recent B8 contests that I had to replace last minute. For example, one song in Hard has no Wikipedia page and is from a series probably 6 people in the world have heard of.
