There are some dubious, poorly sourced claims they are both in hiding in Brazil. They both probably never face any consequences.

In a similar vein to Clinton etc, Bill Gates is the latest person who claimed very loose connection to Epstein but as people dig deeper they find they clearly had a significant relationship.

I'm not an expert by any means, but how I see it is that Trump almost certainly would be diagnosed as Narcissistic Personality Disorder based on his behavior, and lower levels of empathy are present in that diagnosis, and it fits better than sociopathy or anything else to explain how his mind works to an outside observer.

You can understand the gist of what's going on without seeing the other movies, but you can't appreciate what little meat to the film there is without context.

The first film in the captain america series is definitely the most traditionally cinematic of them all - a largely standalone piece that introduces us to a kid from Brooklyn who wants to fight the good fight but lacks the tools to do it, and when he is blessed with those tools, how it causes him to lose his entire world. But it's still a fucking advertisement. The whole thing is a hypetrain, the choices aren't organic and are made to interconnect everything and set up other movies and nod to other events. And it's all to sell more merch, and more mcu movies. For the studios, it's obvious why they love this. But it's a bunch of cover bands. Especially after the first film in the series, there are hardly any artistic decisions to make, it's just keeping it fresh. The point isn't to make us understand captain america and experience his journey, it's to introduce us to captain america, so we can decide he's cool and buy his t shirts. I feel bad for the directors, it's like having an insane amount of talent and your job is making hamburglar commercials.

they are action movies about people punching problems away based on properties aimed at young people.

fans hate the first movies for being introductions and focusing on the actual character instead of focusing on the action and new villains. the characters save earth from aliens but don't ever think about facing the problems people on earth deal with regularly - hence why things like the jessica jones tv series are popular, its more human. people think shit like Logan or Joker are revolutionary - those are just okay movies with comic book characters as the focus. If you like movies - you can find similar concepts done far better.

I generally agree with what Scorcese is saying, these are big tentpole event films that run on hype and are basically a thrill ride, and it would suck if that is the only kind of movie anyone made or paid attention to. I don't think that is a concern, though.

It does take a little longer, but for me as a Gunbreaker, the anxiety reduction of being able to run through the dungeons for the first time with NPCs (and some of their dialogue is great) is worth it.
