And I certainly dont care about hearing a long drawn out story about bad OCs doing something for 80+ hours to stop some vague threat they know of but never actually talk about in explicit terms for some reason. So why do people like it so much? Is it because so many of the male OCs are pretty and they wanna ship them? None of what is presented to us seems particularly unique or creative, it just seems like filler for the sake of drawing things out. --- |

I told my job this more than a month ago. They told me it was totally okay. My supervisor made me go to an empty hallway with her and basically told me that I will be lucky to still have a job when I get back, because people in my position work when were called and I was supposed to be aware of this. She also once told me, in front of clients and other workers that she almost didnt hire me more than once. The two other 20-somethings in the office share my experiences. None of the 30 year olds ever talk to us if they can manage. One man CONSTANTLY makes fun of us about our student loans and keeps telling us that well be lucky to pay it off and that we shouldve known better. One lady in the office is named Deborah. Everyone calls her Deb. I called her that once and she stopped me right there and told me never to address her that way ever again. This isnt people being stuffy, theyre treating us like second class citizens. Our boss doesnt care. Repeats that we should deal with it and do our jobs and we shouldnt be bothered by our older coworkers because we never have to really interact with them other than emails anyway (even though theyre 10 feet away in the office and talk to everyone else) I can deal with a few assholes, but they seriously make us feel like shit every day. And they continue to do this because they know we have bills/loans hanging over our heads. I honestly feel like were just a huge joke to them so they can have people they can basically feel smarter than This isnt like, a supermarket or anything. Its an actual fucking office we have to get dressed up for. --- |

I also routinely let the dog stay with me all day when Im here, so hes accustomed to at least sleeping in the same room as me. Since Im sleeping close to the ground, and not on a raised bed, the dog thinks he can sleep next to me. I keep telling him no, and carrying him to his little bed and blanket setup I made for him. I doze for 10 minutes and I hear him slowly sneaking up to cuddle next to me. I catch him in the act, he freezes, and gets carried back to the bed. Hes done this three times now. Its great. Hes great. Id let him sleep next to me, but I kick and rollover in my sleep. I wouldnt want to crush that tiny 5 pound pup >_> --- |
