My stance is just... Who cares? In those videos, only the winner matters. It's a "If you ain't first, you're last" kind of thing, so the rest of the placement doesn't matter. So, yeah, I absolutely believe he probably edited the order to be more exciting and get more views, but that's a reality TV/video/whatever staple, and I can't imagine caring about it for even a second.

It'd be a scandal if he was like, stealing from people, or lying about giving money, or whatever. But "Oh I finished above Logan Paul but he edited it to make it look like Logan Paul outlasted me and now I'm bad because I think I got less clout from it?" Nah, can't even begin to care.

Tbh, I do think it's kinda shady to be promoting Logan Paul as a "finalist" when he wasn't just because the type of person Logan Paul is.

I mean, in a culture where people either think you are terrible or a saint at any point in time, I'm not going to do that and say MrBeast is awful, but I do think the guy has a problem with the truth at times.

I mean, this is the same guy that we all called out for lying about the submarine incident. He's going to say/do whatever puts him at the center of attention.

And for a guy as young as him, who has this much fame, and has always been starved for attention since before he was big, I feel like it's not that inconceivable. Again, don't think he's a bad person by any means, and this is far from "cancellable" anyways, but still.

Recruiters will get you interviews, so that is a plus. I do find 1 recruiter can become 10 recruiters real quick, and that's when it does become overwhelming.

Also, recruiters work for companies, not you, so they are going to push you to jobs that might not be fully what you want, even after you tell them your "minimums" because that's how they get paid.

There is an incredible amount of value, and I do think they can probably get you more money than you would get yourself, but I feel you gotta be mentally prepared.

Yeah, I use YT Music a lot, and the fact that I do watch YouTube the most out of anything (netflix, disney+, hulu, etc.) does give it a large amount of value. Even in the better days when ads weren't nearly as long/much, I would still prefer not having to watch ads at all. Sure, adblock is a thing, but there is convenience to Premium as well.

YouTube Premium is my favorite subscription tbh.

I don't know if I fully agree that he wasn't interesting in the least bit, but his stocks definitely went up after Ragnarok. I'd like to think, considering the Russo Brothers were the ones behind IW/EG Thor, that someone can keep the blueprints that Taika set up, but perhaps find that happy medium as you suggested. I don't think Thor 4 is flat-out terrible either, just a little much, and maybe a little wasted in its premise. I could still rewatch it and have a good time, though.

The reason is, national polls were actually pretty darn close, and generally, when a candidate dominates another candidate that much in the national popular vote, you would expect they would have a similar victory in the electoral map. It really was a case of the smallest of cracks that were overlooked. It's the type of thing you can't really find out until you lose one time like that, unfortunately.

Edit: And yeah, if gambling for presidential elections was legal, and I was someone with money in 2016, I would have bet everything, and became one depressed individual on that election's outcome.

Teams can underperform for parts of the year lilbro. They still had many of the pieces from the previous years lilbro.

It's not luck, and this isn't usual. Low payroll teams have a shot every few years by building up their systems. The Dodgers losing isn't tragic, especially because them choking in October is consistent.

I agree. It also keeps the games fresh that they introduce new things constantly, and don't make a point out of keeping things static. Odyssey could have easily just played things safe, but Mario not doing that is one of the biggest reasons he not only survived against all the 90's cereal-mascot characters, but long since outlived them.

So many other platforming series have taken the approach of making their sequels pure sequels where it's the same movement and such with new levels and maybe a new character/feature. Mario, for the most part, throws out so much of the artstyle/mechanics/etc. with each new entry unless it is a direct sequel (as in something like SMG2 or 3D World) and completely reworks it from the ground-up. Yet, the quality and overall idea of Mario stays intact so as to not make him feel completely separated from his roots.

SMB2USA was actually a good thing at setting up a precedent that sequels can be more than just glorified romhacks of the original. Sure, lost levels is the true sequel, but when you look at SMB > SMB2USA > SMB3 > SMW > SMW2 > 64 > SMS > SMG > 3DL > Odyssey, you can see the drastic changes this series has from one entry to the next.

Compare that to nearly every other platformer, and they play more like the jump from SMG to SMG2, and while it's fun, obviously people move on quickly. It annoys me when people say all Mario games play the same when the only series for Mario that has been like that is really just NSMB (in which I would argue the og DS NSMB was quite innovative and original for its time compared to previous 2D Mario games and the jump to NSMBWii was pretty big as well. It wasn't until NSMB2 and NSMBU that it started to really feel repetitive).

Also, contrary to popular belief, males aren't just lazing around all day in the pride. They actually do hunt, typically just separate from the lioness group, and in a more solitary fashion. Of course, sometimes they do hunt with their lioness group.

If lions had the capabilities to have the concept of stupidity, then they would definitely think it's stupid that their natural life cycle involves their dads kicking them out, them having to be on their own until they find another pride, and at some point, eventually getting usurped and dying by getting torn to shreds by challenging lions, by hyenas, or maybe even just dying of exhaustion and starvation.

We, as humans, have no right to choose to live. We are born into this world and are never asked if we want to be a part of it.

At the very least, we should have the right to choose to die.

As a human male on the other hand, I'm just living in my parent's home as my dad co-exists peacefully with me and still helps me out well into my adulthood. In terms of fathers, I have to think humans are among the luckiest in that regard.

Life is alright for awhile once they can become a pride leader though, truly the life of a king. Everyone does the hunting for you unless you decide to step in, otherwise you just chase off the occasional nomads, which is usually easy until older age. They stay rested and beefed up while the nomads are weaker and more frail.

Yeah, but it's just the realization that it seems like it's the fate of almost all male lions to die alone and miserable. It's a good few years while you are on top, but it's like being a king, but knowing eventually you will be assassinated and replaced and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

The problem is, eventually you won't be able to fight... and the other lion might kill all your kids too.

Kicked out by your own father a couple of years into your life. If you have no brothers, then you most likely will be forced to become a nomad alone while you are still growing and vulnerable. You somehow have to find another pride, while keeping up the strength to challenge the current male(s) of the group. Even if you win and become the new pride leader, it's only a matter of time before you, yourself, are the weak old lion that some new upcoming lion kicks out. As lion fights are vicious, this fight alone might kill you. Otherwise, you are now an old and weak lion that has little chance at taking over another pride. You are worse off then when you left your original pride as now you don't even have the strength to hunt the big game you need to survive, slowly withering into nothingness. Your mortal enemies, the hyenas probably are ready to pounce if they ever see you and finish off your painful life.

Your only chance as an old male lion is becoming a mentor for other nomadic male lions out there that create a coalition with you as your experience may prove useful to them surviving and perhaps taking over another pride.

As a male lion, there is no peace. They look and sound majestic, but lions have one of the rougher lifestyles in the animal kingdom tbh.

Honestly, no offense, but I think we are going to have to wait closer to when Trump is officially the candidate before the polls can give us a better idea of how independents are affecting the race. Right now, it's going to go back and forth on how this ends up affecting each one.

SM2 is a full-on war between the two where xbots are desperate to show any flaw with the game (meaning they bought the game and the PS5, way to go) to basically summarize it as broken and dull while Sony Ponies can't help but bring up Xbox games they have no intention to play whenever the smallest criticism comes out about the game. Instead of enjoying their GotY contender like they should be doing, they can't help but basically trash on Xbox games.

Honestly, Sony and Xbox could probably just have fanboys of the other guy playtest their games, and that alone will help them find every bug out there more efficiently than any playtester could. How do these fanboys manage to have two full-time jobs, one that makes them money, and the other making sure their billion-dollar corporations are defended to their very last breath? When do they actually have the time to enjoy games?

Sometimes America comes up with good names, and sometimes the come up with... Toadstool.

Peach is a much more fitting name for her in terms of what you associate when you think of her. Princess Peach Toadstool is still her full name to me (don't know if Nintendo of America still treats it that way), but if I have to pick one, I'm going with Peach all the way.

I like Ozai's casting, appearance-wise.

Azula is 14 iirc in the show, and I think we need to see how she pulls off facial expressions before we judge too harshly.

I dug up the ol' Wii U, and hooked her up. Waiting for the pad to charge, but I'm excited to turn it on. It has probably been... 4-5 years I want to say. I think I randomly decided to play Smash 4 for the lolz.

This was the first console I kept up with in all reality. I was 14 when it was coming out, and I remember being extremely excited about getting it. I think it was Burger King that was doing this giveaway to everyone who was top 10 in the leaderboards nationally in getting points from their minigames (I could be wrong though, it has been over a decade), where you would get the white wii u. I actually was no-lifing it, and was even on the top 10 leaderboards, in a pretty good spot too, but the problem was that you needed to be 12 or under to win. I begged my parents to lie and say I was 12 if I won, but they said they wouldn't do it, so I gave up on the dream. I think my last Christmas gift that year was the black Wii U in all of its glory. The box was smaller than I thought it would be, so before I unwrapped it, I didn't think I got it, and was a little disappointed as I was really wanting the console.

Got Nintendo Land and NSMBU, both of which I thoroughly played. Around February, I didn't play it at all, though, as there was nothing for me to play, until my dad convinced me to get Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in March, and I absolutely was addicted to it. Before joining the site, I remember reading all sorts of topics on here related to that game, and I was so addicted to the wiki for that game as I just wanted to absorb the lore of the game.

Those were some beautiful times for me :)
