New stars, bosses, characters, areas, and the models look so much better. But god damn, being on a DS really really screwed that game over on the controls department.

If they want to introduce "SM64DS, but not frustrating to play" edition, even if it's just a straight-up port of the OG with redone controls (I'll take DS-looking graphics because they honestly hold up pretty well for that game), that would be a must-buy.

Instead of re-releasing SM64 for the 100th time, perhaps this is something that can be done?!?

Nope. A great chess player should be able to win within the confines of the game. Everyone deep into chess knows you have to give the opponent an opportunity to move their king in an area not in check if you're not going to check the king yourself.

If you stalemate after being in a winning position, that's on you.

You're damn right they don't.

I usually am not a proponent for making games look more like N64-PS2 games, but I think the sound effects and overall graphics of that era created certain elements that the clean graphics of today can't quite capture that would benefit certain shooters.

With all the 8/16-bit retro games out there, going for the late 90's/early 2000's wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I didn't know there were $50 scratch off tickets. Biggest i've seen is $30.

This was the first one over $30 I ever saw myself. I had to get just one for the novelty of throwing $50 away... er I mean, winning $5,000,000.

Sony announces games do far in advance they don't even come out on the console they're announced for (see: Last Guardian)

It's become pointless to watch Sony's E3 because the games won't show up anywhere for years and when they finally do they look worse than the E3 demo by a significant margin.

Even Sony agrees which is why they haven't done an E3 in a few years.

I just remember everyone screaming from the mountaintops that Sony "won" 2015 because of that E3, lmao.

I vastly prefer to be less hyped, but know that the games are actually coming in a reasonable timeframe than to pull a Sony and announce things all for the sake of hype, but those games don't come out for many many years.

I didn't even like when Nintendo did it for BotW 2 since they knew it wouldn't come out for a few years.
