Due to the embarrassment of being NEET (even though I know it is nothing to be ashamed of, but still feel that society judges), just tell people that I am retired - but then get the follow-up questions, like, "How did you manage that?" "What do you live on?" "Oh you have savings? You must have A LOT!!!" (Made that mistake once. Said I have a savings account - which is actually quite small - but it led people to think I have a chunk of cash to live on." People are soooo nosy. --- |
