Surge pricing is lazy labelling. Just keep calling it "inflation" then add happy hour discounts to get much better reactions.

What's the logic of calling it WcDonald's?
It's a trope in anime where a restaurant that's clearly supposed to be McDonalds has a golden W to avoid copyright. Several examples:

"Heterosexual wedding" might still be accurate but by and large it's fairly meaningless to bring up in the first place.
It's not meaningless if one is happily accepted in every country while the other would get the participants murdered in many places.

The wedding is lesbian since both participants are female. It's not a description of each individual person's preferences. Like if a male bisexual and female bisexual get married it's still a straight wedding.

Mystique can naturally live very long, but Destiny was an old woman before she was killed by a mind controlled Legion right before the big 90s reboot. She was revived more recently with Krakoa resurrection protocols using Cerebro backup data, obviously at a more prime age.

Destiny was in X-Men Evolution if you've seen that. She was the blind woman taking care of Rogue.

Again, regardless of this dude, should the lotto be allowed to just pull a massive oopsie as publishing completely wrong numbers for multiple days, potentially causing actual winners to be deterred from claiming their money? With zero consequences? We're not talking about just a typo that gets fixed in an hour.

Not having any repercussions for putting up fake numbers means the lotto could just choose a set of numbers nobody picked, put them up in "error" and hope someone that did get the winning numbers gets duped into believing they lost. Is that something the lotto should be allowed to do?

Yes, but they actually run a real lottery where the real numbers are decided. Just because they published the wrong numbers doesn't change what the real numbers were.
Does anyone watch the lotto live though? What if someone with the real winning numbers saw the fake ones and thought they lost and not bother to check again. Hence my point that putting up fake numbers at all for multiple days should be considered a massive breach of trust and highly illegal.

You would think putting up false numbers on a jackpot for millions for multiple days would warrant some kind of punitive fee regardless of if anyone picked those numbers.

My previous job would rotate through managers every couple years, but they typically at least somewhat knew what they were doing, or at least appeared to.

However the last year I was there, during the end of pandemic and return to office period, the newest managers they got basically started allocating a lot of managerial duties across the team and they would frequently be out on vacation or working from home, when everyone else was expected to be in office 4/5 days.

After about 6 months everyone started realizing doing the manager level work for them wasn't just temporary coverage, and even after them being there over a year the managers still couldn't answer any basic job function questions when asked. So like half the team, the more experienced half, started quitting or changing departments. I ended up quitting too since I wasn't interested in having manager work diverted to me without a significant promotion.

See y'all are just proving how brainwashed you are by semantics. If Genshin locked characters to level 70 unless you buy the battle pass, then you're obligated to keep buying the battle pass each month to keep using your level 90 characters, and the 2 most recent cities required separate purchases, it would be fully agreed as shitty. Yet FF14 does all that...

How exactly is FFXIV worse than other live service games?
Most successful live service games are free to play the entire game, with optional battle pass stuff for cosmetics and items that reduce the grind.

MMOs like FF14 charge a subscription fee up front to even play at all beyond the short trial period.

So to be clear, if you take ten people, make the details of their life and upbringing exactly the same, down to the level of care, meals, etc. everything

a couple of those people will still be inclined to be better at thing X than the rest of the group?
To extrapolate on what I mean by the definition of natural talent being murky, following this example:
Life template A: Person 1 & 2 excel at the talent while everyone else is mediocre

Meanwhile a Life template B that is completely tweaked and used on the same 10 people: Person 4, 5, 6 and 7 are the best and everyone else fails to keep up the same way.

Which ones were truly natural talents? Just because person 1-2 develop better under one method and 4-7 develop better a different way, are either really "naturally" more talented than the others? Was template A really a better way to be raised if it produces fewer talented people?
