Applied and wasn't even considered because no degree even though I'd been there 1.5 years and could and was doing the job. However the last year I was there, during the end of pandemic and return to office period, the newest managers they got basically started allocating a lot of managerial duties across the team and they would frequently be out on vacation or working from home, when everyone else was expected to be in office 4/5 days. After about 6 months everyone started realizing doing the manager level work for them wasn't just temporary coverage, and even after them being there over a year the managers still couldn't answer any basic job function questions when asked. So like half the team, the more experienced half, started quitting or changing departments.
