It does most of the time. Consider physical labour jobs. You get more time to rest which lowers the chance of injury and fatigue. Theres more benefit to office jobs as well. The jobs where there isnt benefit would be few and far between

Jecht wasn't really a villain, sure, but he was one of the two major antagonistic forces in the game. The other was Seymour, but he was kinda just an occasional roadblock who failed to take control of Sin
