Glad to see you're enjoying Exodus. And you don't really like the first Fafner opening song Shangri-la? It's one of the best ones lol. The melancholic tone of it is one of the best things about it.

Also the guy that can teleport of the three kids is Reo. I like him the most of the trio. He uses swords too and I love swords. I'm a melee guy.

I'm only on episode 5 so I haven't gotten to an Angela yet. Unless she's the new neo-un girl. Or is she a composer or something? Speaking of that, it's kind of interesting how they're still using the same soundtrack from 11 years ago lol.

Lmao. No angela is the one that did every vocal Fafner songs like the OPs and EDs except the character songs from the albums which are sung by their VAs. You definitely heard their Fafner OP and ED songs at least. Now you're watching Exodus you should have the OP and ED from that in your mind. angela is awesome.

Also yeah it's nice they're reusing the original Fafner series soundtrack. One of my most favourite themes is Mark Sein, and again, my most favourite Fafner is Mark Sein. The composer is Tsuneyoshi Saito, and he came back to make new tracks for Exodus. It's not just reused tracks being used in Exodus

Holy shit @SDBZ, these third gen kids are so much more OP than anyone in the original series. And the kids in the original series (and the movie) have all matured and grown up too. These characters are so much more likeable now. I really hope there are as little casualties as possible.

Yeah lol. This game is basically a revival of Virtual On with a touch of Index. The series started in around 1996, so it and the gameplay style came before Custom Robo.

I'm just wondering if this is a one off or if they will make more Virtual On games, perhaps a normal one without the Index crossover, in the future. It will be nice if Virtual On is back to stay.

Also the music is great. SEGA has great composers.



One of my most favourite themes. This is Temjin's theme. I imagine Touma and Temjin will get a new version of this theme for the new game.

Finished Re:Creators. What a fun ride it has been. The feels during some moments, like Sota's emotional moments where he cried, I cried too. What happened to Setsuna was so tragic. But at least Sota managed to move on now.

Opening songs are awesome. Sawano did a great job.

Also Gigas Machina is too awesome. I need a model kit of it. I wish it showed more of its attacks and abilities though. I'm pretty sure it had more but it didn't get a chance to use them. That crushing field attack it did was cool though.

My favorite Fafner? Hmm, that's a hard one, I don't really remember them that well lol. I might need to rewatch it but that's hard because the series is just really sad especially since Miyu Matsuki is actually dead irl and her character being my favorite. That girl is the one I remember the most. I actually recall a lot of the fafners jobbing to the aliens so my favorite is the one the MC used that actually did shit and not get dropped by the aliens. Wait, looking at the wiki to refresh my memory, I think Mark Nicht was my favorite because it was used by both a hero and an alien.
And yeah, I'll be watching it either the day after tomorrow or the next. I'm finishing up Konosuba tonight, too busy tomorrow but I'll start it the next day.

Cool. So basically you like Mark Sein too huh, with Mark Nicht being your favourite?

Also, do you like Soushi? If you really like him, I think you'll love him in Exodus. You'll get to see him finally do something you may have wanted him to do. He's badass in Exodus.
